A Stardew Valley fan online has revealed that they're working on a remake of the entire game's map within Minecraft and shared a progress report with the community. Both games have plenty of similarities, and it would be interesting to see if once complete, gamers could play Minecraft as if it were Stardew Valley.

To this day, Minecraft remains one of the most active and creative communities in all of gaming. It seems as though there's always another incredible creation just around the corner, with no limit to the level of creativity on display. Sometimes, players just want to pay tribute to their other favorite franchises, like the Minecraft player who recreated Hogwarts Castle in-game. That's exactly what seems to have happened with this Stardew Valley build, too.

Redditor THK_Gaming shared their incredible work so far, showing off multiple iconic locations from Stardew Valley within Minecraft. In the images, places like the beach, the town, and Cindersap Forest are all depicted, with more to come in the future. Another gamer in the past has already recreated Willy's Shop from Stardew Valley in Minecraft, and while the interior can't be seen here, it's certain to be on the to-do list for THK_Gaming.

The user spoke more about the creation later on in the thread. This project was started multiple years ago but has been shelved until the past few years. Massive progress has been made in the recreation since, and they estimate that the project will be finished sometime in the next month. It's certainly an impressive undertaking, and it's always fun to see other games recreated within the impressive Minecraft sandbox. Just recently, a Pokemon fan was working on a recreation of the Kanto region in Minecraft. There's something undeniably satisfying about seeing these projects come to fruition over time, even if some of the bigger ones don't always make it across the finish line.

The recent Trails and Tales update for Minecraft is one of the biggest in recent memory, providing a slew of new content for the game to keep players busy for the foreseeable future. In an era of sequels and remakes, Mojang deserves credit for continuing to support Minecraft with free updates. There's no doubt a Minecraft sequel would sell a crazy amount of copies, but the studio has yet to go down that well, with no sign that it's incoming. Instead, it has chosen to head down the spin-off route, allowing the franchise to spread its wings in other genres. Minecraft Legends is the most recent, with fans enjoying the real-time action strategy title.

Minecraft is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy consoles.
