Stardew Valley is incredibly in-depth for an Indie game. This is primarily thanks to ConcernedApe's dedication to the title and all the subsequent updates that were released which added content to the already expansive title. In 2022, Stardew Valley still stands as one of the greatest Indie game experiences currently available and the breadth of things that players can do is a big reason it's such a popular pick among gamers.

One of the biggest drawing factors is the ability to "put together a farm," complete with crops and housing. Players will spend a lot of their time on their farm in Stardew Valley and there are tons of decorations for them to collect to make their home feel more personal. The following list highlights some of the best pieces of furniture available and how players can get their hands on them for their own home designs.

10 Crystal Chair

StardewValleyCrystalChair

There are a lot of interesting and ornate seating choices in Stardew Valley but some of them "sit out" among the crowd. A great example is the Crystal Chair, which features a fancy carved back and a unique icy blue and white design. Its shape makes it look just as regal as the King Chair (maybe even more so) and it would be the perfect addition to any winter-based design. Thanks to its color scheme, players shouldn't have a hard time mixing and matching this chair with a variety of other looks, designs, and themes.

How To Get It: Players will receive the Crystal Chair as a reward from the Museum for handing over 41 Minerals.

9 Modern Bookcase

StardewValleyModernBookcase

There aren't many bookcases for players to choose from in Stardew Valley. Some may opt for the Luxury Bookcase or Dark Bookcase because they're the "fanciest" or most expensive, but the Modern Bookcase is easily the most entertaining of the choices available. Its pointed design is rather unique and when multiples are paired together it creates a unique mountain-like design at the top. Players can even combine it with the Dark Bookcase (although the colors are slightly different) to creature some unique patterns.

How To Get It: The Modern Bookcase will sometimes show up at the Carpenter's Shop for 1600g but can also show up in the Traveling Cart for anywhere between 250 - 2,500g. Players can also purchase unlimited (for free) after obtaining the Furniture Catalogue.

8 Monster Fireplace

StardewValleyMonsterFireplace

Slotting a fireplace into the farmhouse can be a bit difficult depending on what players are designing and what theme they're mainly following. There are six choices but most of them look and feel like traditional fireplaces, except for one. The Monster Fireplace is wholly unique in its design, with a gaping monster maw that looks and feels like something from Howl's Moving Castle. It's unique, creative, and fun to look at.

How To Get It: The Monster Fireplace can be bought from Krobus for 20,000g.

7 Fruit Salad Rug

StardewValleyFruitSaladRug

Players looking to liven up their home with something fresh and fruity should target the Fruit Salad Rug, which stands out as one of the most interesting rugs available. Although there are many rugs available for players to choose from, the Fruit Salad Rug stands out uniquely as one of the few rugs that looks and feels like it belongs on a farm.

How To Get It: To snag the Fruit Salad Rug, players will have to get ultra-close to Penny and witness her 14-heart event. After that, choosing the Strawberry Home option will unlock access to this rug (and some other decorations).

6 Candle Lamp

When it comes to lighting, players will have a handful of options to choose from but none of them seem to emanate that same charm as the Candle Lamp. This old-timey wood and glass design features a globed light hanging from a receptacle in the center of the lamp, similar to what a hanging lantern may look like. It's a great option for those looking to great a "natural" feeling and ties in well with almost any design.

How To Get It: The Candle Lamp will sometimes show up in rotation at the Carpenter's Shop for 1000g and can also be grabbed endlessly after players unlock the Furniture Catalogue.

5 Deluxe Red Bed

StardewValleyDeluxeRedBed

Early to bed and early to rise farmers will definitely want to spend a little extra cash decorating their bedroom. There are quite a few beds available in Stardew Valley, with many features unique color combinations that should appeal to a wide array of designs and tastes. One particular design, the Deluxe Red Bed, stands out thanks to its strange shape and crown-like headboard. It's a bit wacky for some but will stand out well as a centerpiece for a player's bedroom.

How To Get It: Players will need to complete Robin's Project (a quest) and deliver 80 hardwood to the carpenter. Once they've done that, they can purchase the bed for 6,000g.

4 Long Cactus

StardewValleyLongCactus

There are tons of decorations for players to unlock in Stardew Valley but some of them are harder to find than others. When it comes to "plant life," it's hard to beat the charm of the Long Cactus. Just what it says it is, this ultra-tall Cactus will liven up any space with its prickly green design and towering shape.

How To Get It: The Long Cactus can be snagged from the claw machine inside the movie theater. In order to show up, it must be Summer and Journey Of The Prairie King: The Motion Picture must be playing.

3 'Wumbus'

Players that find them frequenting the movie theater may also want to keep an eye out for this precious movie poster. The 'Wumbus" is an adorable little green blob that looks amazing hanging on the wall thanks to its fantastical and humorous design. There are a lot of wall decorations to be had in Stardew Valley but there is something so endearing about this cute little character.

How To Get It: 'Wumbus' can be grabbed from the Crane Game at the movie theater so long as its Summer and Wumbus is playing as the feature film.

2 Moonlight Jellies Banner

On the subject of wall decorations, the Moonlight Jellies Banner stands out as one of the coolest pieces of hangable art that players can get their hands on. What's even better is that these cute and colorful decorations are relatively cheap, but players will have to grab them during a particular time of the year. The blue and purple hue stands out well against most walls and furniture and cute little jellyfish at the bottom is a great way to create "tassels."

How To Get It: Players can grab a Moonlight Jellies Banner from Pierre during the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies for 800g.

1 Junimo Kart Arcade System

StardewValleyJunimoArcadeMachine

What home would be complete without some kind of entertainment system? Sure, there are televisions, aquariums, and other decorations to unlock but some players may want something a bit more interactive in their farmhouse. A great option is the Junimo Kart Arcade System, a full-sized arcade cabinet with a working version of Junimo Kart on it.

How To Get It: Players will first need to unlock the Junimo Kart Arcade System at the Stardrop Saloon with the Skull Key. Then, players need to play Junimo Kart and beat the Progress Mode. A day after doing so, their very own machine will be delivered.
