More than 40 characters are featured in the Pelican Town of Stardew Valley. Gus is the friendly and dedicated owner of the Stardrop Saloon. From tending to the bar as a skilled bartender to serving delectable dishes as a creative chef, Gus ensures that the Stardrop Saloon remains a central hub for the townsfolk to unwind and socialize. He warmly welcomes everyone in the Valley and makes them feel right at home with superb hospitality.

As hospitable as he is, Gus has exquisite taste and appreciates thoughtful gifts, like all other villagers in Stardew Valley. Similar to other NPCs in the game, players can give him up to two gifts per week which can either increase or decrease his Friendship level with the player depending upon the gift. An additional present can be given on his birthday, which falls on Summer Eight and has eight times the usual effect on Friendship.

A Diamond is a precious gemstone that players can obtain through various means in Stardew Valley. This item can be extracted from Diamond Nodes on Levels 50+ of the Mines and Gem Nodes that can be found on any floor in the Mines. Diamonds may also be dropped when players kill any Monster once they reach the bottom of the Mines.

Diamonds may occasionally appear inside Fishing Treasure Chests or be obtained by Panning. When players reach the bottom of the Mines, they may even be found inside Garbage Cans. There is also a 0.1% chance for a Wilderness Golem to drop a diamond when killed.

Escargot

Escargot is a delicious-cooked dish consisting of butter-soaked snails. These snails are cooked to perfection and need to be prepared inside the kitchen of an upgraded farmhouse in the game. Players may also use a Cookout Kit to prepare Escargot. The recipe for this culinary delight is sent in the Mail by Willy when players reach a five-heart friendship with him. The ingredients required are one Snail and one Garlic.

Unfortunately, Daffodils are not sold in any of the shops around Pelican Town. There is only one special occasion where players can purchase them – The Flower Dance Festival. Pierre sets up a Booth at the Flower Dance where he sells ten Daffodils for 50 gold. This festival takes place on Spring 24 every year in Stardew Valley.
