Just about every review of Star Wars: Visions has praised it for being bold, exploring new territory for the franchise, and telling fresh stories. With all the impressive animation styles on display from top studios to boot, it's hard to deny that Visions has left its impact on the Star Wars franchise for years to come.

With this in mind, it's no surprise that fans would like to see some of the episodes be turned into full series of their own. Historically, many anime used to begin as a single episode OVA — an Original Video Animation — before becoming full series if there was enough interest. Visions proves that this process should become the norm again once more as a few of these episodes deserve to be built into so much more.

Lop & Ocho

Lop And Ocho

Lop is beyond adorable and it's about time fans got to see a full series with a pure focus on a non-human character. Lepi have never been deeply explored before now, with one of the only notable ones being a smuggler named Jaxxon, but with just how many fans fell in love with Lop, there's no doubt how popular a full-blown series could become.

There is plenty of room for the series to grow into a full story as well, with Lop trying her best to track down Ochō and thwart whatever evils the Empire might be up to while fighting the various villains her adoptive sister keeps finding herself surrounded with. The story of a fractured family trying to become whole again could be incredibly heartwrenching and touching as Geno Studio already proved, so imagine if they could have the chance to expand on this further.

The Duel

The Duel Star Wars Visions

The distinct animation style that Kamekaza Douga chose to use for this short may make it worthwhile to be built upon all on its own. Add to it just how much creative lightsaber use was seen in the fights and it would be a surefire hit. Everyone wants to see more lightsaber umbrellas, right?

What really makes things interesting is The Duel's protagonist, the Ronin. With so many red kyber crystals already on his belt, there are already several other stories of various users of the force he must have defeated prior. That, and why would someone who uses a red lightsaber and is presumably a sith go around destroying those of his own kind? While the universe of this short was actually expanded by a book called Ronin: A Visions Novel, it would be even better to see it become a fully-fledged series. Perhaps it could even use some of what the book brought to the table for its own storylines.

T0-B1

T0-B1

The lighthearted homage to Astro-Boy that Science SARU brought to life could inject some much-needed levity into the franchise while creating an amazing story for young viewers to really sink their teeth into. Seeing T0-B1-, AKA Toby, traveling from planet to planet to try to help others like the Jedi could show us a whole breadth of new worlds and let viewers engage with the world that the Sith have tried to bring about through innocent eyes.

Not only this, but it's possible the series could finally put to rest some of the issues fans have had with Midi-chlorians over the years. While some non-canonical droids have been force sensitive in the past, allowing Toby to be able to truly find another way to interact with the force. Perhaps his creator found a way to make inorganic matter that acted like Midi-cholrians, or there is some other mystery at play to be solved. Either way, it would be joyous to see the little robot exploring a galaxy far far away again.

The Ninth Jedi

The Ninth Jedi

The Ninth Jedi has been almost universally claimed as the episode that deserves a full spin-off by fans, and it's obvious to see why. Not only does the new lore it presents involving lightsabers that reflect their users' connections to the force but also sets up for a fantastic story that could easily be built upon as when the story ends, it's implied that there are not only other Jedi to be found in the universe, but the main character's dad needs to still be rescued as well.

Lah Kara would be another fantastic female lead to add to the franchise and watching her grow into herself and find exactly how she is connected with the force would be a true treat. Not to mention, seeing a full Star Wars series created by Production I.G. — the same studio behind mega-hits like Attack on Titan, Haikyuu, and Psycho-Pass — could only result in something truly amazing to behold.
