Star Wars Outlaws is set to divert from the latest Star Wars video game trope of Jedi and focus on the criminal underworld of Star Wars. Star Wars Outlaws will feature the protagonist Kay Vess as she navigates the Outer Rim and attempts the biggest heist the Outer Rim has seen after a bounty is put on her head after one of her many cons went wrong.

With the antagonist Sliro sending bounty hunters after Kay Vess, this could be the prime opportunity to bring one fearsome character from The Clone Wars into Star Wars Outlaws. The character in question is none other than the formidable bounty hunter Cad Bane, and there are many plausible reasons as to why and how he could appear in Star Wars Outlaws.

Why Cad Bane Would be The Perfect Bounty Hunter to be Pit Against Kay Vess

Star Wars Cad Bane

Cad Bane is a Fearsome Bounty Hunter in the Star Wars Franchise

Out of all the bounty hunters that were introduced in The Clone Wars, Star Wars' Cad Bane may well be the most fearsome and well-known. He has appeared in three episodes of The Bad Batch and made his live action debut in The Book of Boba Fett (which is where viewers saw his demise). Although it could be argued that he doesn’t have the same reputation with fans of Star Wars as Boba Fett does, he’s just as dangerous.

In one unfinished episode of The Clone Wars , it is shown that he had a stand-off with Star Wars ' Boba Fett and gave him the dent in his helmet that is seen in The Original Trilogy.

Cad Bane isn’t afraid to do what needs to be done to complete an objective or capture his bounty. He also doesn’t seem to show much of a moral compass, as he’s more than willing to take on bounties that involve kidnapping children, as he’s shown doing in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch.

Cad Bane is Alive During the Events of Star Wars Outlaws

Considering Star Wars Outlaws takes place during the Original Trilogy, and Cad Bane met his demise in The Book of Boba Fett (which takes place after the events of the Original Trilogy), it’s safe to say that he’s most certainly alive during the events of Star Wars Outlaws. With Cad Bane still alive, it provides plenty of opportunities for Cad Bane to make an appearance in the game.

It would be fascinating and be a great cameo for fans of Cad Bane and The Clone Wars if Cad Bane made an appearance in Star Wars Outlaws. A great scenario would be if Cad Bane went up against Kay Vess and there would be a small battle between the two of them. This scenario could work similarly to how Cal Kestis met Boba Fett in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Kay Vess could be doing a series of bounty hunts, and after the final hunt has been completed, Cad Bane could show up.

Cad Bane Has Connections to the Pyke Syndicate

One of the many confirmed syndicates to appear in Star Wars Outlaws is the Pyke Syndicate, who have appeared throughout Star Wars. In The Book of Boba Fett, Cad Bane was hired by the Pyke Syndicate to take down Boba Fett. This proves that Cad Bane has connections with the Pike Syndicate and has most likely worked with them on many occasions.

If Kay Vess upsets the Pyke Syndicate, then that’s the perfect opportunity for Cad Bane to make his appearance. Since Cad Bane is a bounty hunter, it’s very well plausible that any of the confirmed Syndicates may send Cad Bane after Kay Vess. Whether Cade Bane appears in Star Wars Outlaws is still uncertain, but the game does have a great opportunity for Cad Bane to at least be mentioned in some way. Especially since the game has a focus on the criminal underworld of Star Wars.
