New Journey Plus is a bonus mode in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that lets players start a playthrough with their collectibles, cosmetics, and combat skills. It is similar to most other games’ NG+ in that it carries over primary items unlocked in the first run. But what exactly is in New Game Plus? Here’s a list of every item, skill, and upgrade that remains accessible in Jedi: Survivor’s New Journey+.

What Carries Over in New Journey Plus

Skill Points, Skill Trees, Lightsaber Stances, Map Upgrades, Databanks, Cosmetics, and Collectibles carry over in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s New Game Plus. But every earned item or perk is automatically unequipped at the start, and players will need to equip them at the first Meditation Point.

Here's how the carried-over items work in New Journey+:

  • Skill Points are refunded. All points spent on Skill Trees are back in Cal’s inventory, and he can invest them in new abilities.
  • Collectibles don’t respawn. Every treasure chest and Priorite Shard that Cal unlocked carries over to the new playthrough.
  • Cosmetics are in the inventory. All hairstyles, beards, jackets, shirts, pants, and materials from the previous playthrough are accessible in the New Journey Plus.
  • Skill Trees remain unlocked. All abilities are accessible in NG+ from the first chapter (but players will still need to pay for them).
  • Lightsaber Stances can be changed. All five stances—single, double-bladed, dual-wield, Crossguard, and Blaster—are equippable from the first Meditation Point.
  • Map Upgrades don’t go away. Collectibles are visible on the holographic map from the start of the NG+.
  • Databanks are carried over. Cal has access to every piece of information he discovered in the previous playthrough.

What Resets in NG+

Despite all the items that carry over in the New Game Plus, Cal’s Force powers, BD-1’s abilities, and Meditation Points are unavailable in NG+. Any campaign-exclusive skill and item resets in the new playthrough and players will have to earn them through the main objectives.

This makes sense because having all abilities from the beginning would break the mission design and could cause players to skip most parts of the story.

In New Journey Plus, players earn three perks and two Lightsaber blades, but all of them are exclusive to NG+ and cannot be equipped in a normal playthrough. The free perks include Purity, which increases weapon damage for everyone; Warrior, which replaces enemies with stronger ones; Trendsetter, which randomizes Cal’s outfits.

As for the Lightsaber blades, players get a red Sith-resembling color plus a colorful party blade that is also known as the rainbow Lightsaber.

The Warrior perk is automatically equipped at the start of NG+, which is why enemies seem more aggressive, but players can change it as soon as they reach the first Meditation Point in Chapter 1.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
