10 The Purrgil

Captain Skoova Stev has plenty of exciting stories that he can tell Cal Kestis. This fisherman can be found around Koboh and in the fishing tank at Pyloon’s Saloon. He’s a great friend, if not a tad loud. However, part of Skoova’s tales tells of how he was saved by none other than a space whale!

Audiences will understand that Skoova isn’t just talking about random space whales, but the Purrgil. The Purrgil live in deep space and can travel through hyperspace. Purrgils are extremely large and mysterious and gained the trust of Ezra Bridger in Star Wars: Rebels to send him and Thrawn to unknown regions.

9 Rancor Bones

The mighty Rancor is not to be trifled with. Rancors are known for their intense aggression, as is their nature for protecting themselves and their dark caves. Players will be able to find a Rancor in Star WarsJedi: Survivor, a challenging boss fight, with one obscure weakness that fans of Return of the Jedi will recognize.

When facing off against one of the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor legendary boss fights , players will be able to use the Force to grab a large bone, and throw it into the Rancor’s mouth to stun them. This is a move used by Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi, a notable callback.

8 Boba Fett

The most feared and famous bounty hunter makes a surprise appearance in Star WarsJedi: Survivor, complete with a performance from none other than Boba Fett himself, Temuera Morrison. Boba Fett’s costume lines up perfectly with the era, as it’s still a time before his appearance in The Empire Strikes Back, indicated by the flight suit and the green gauntlets.

Unfortunately, players won't find a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Boba Fett boss fight, but it's exciting nonetheless. Although the appearance is short, it’s indeed memorable. Boba Fett has been a fan-favorite character for decades and good reason.

7 Battle Droid Antics

Thanks to the Clone Wars, the battle droids have become iconic for their comedic timing and sass. Despite being programmed, they seem to have unique personalities, that seem them constantly clash with each other. Players should let the battle droids interact before slashing them with lightsabers to hear the funny dialogue.

The battle droid conversations are very reminiscent of the humor seen in the Clone Wars era of Star Wars. Players can expect a range of funny conversations, whether it’s the B1’s repeating “Roger. Roger.”, telling each other that they don’t want to die, or the B2’s fighting over who’s in charge.

6 Draw Me Like One Of Your Mogu’s, Cal

One of the best easter eggs in Star WarsJedi: Survivor features a secret room that requires players to slide through a hidden passage for over 2 minutes. The location of this secret room is in Harvest Ridge, requiring players to climb a vine ceiling in a cave, and then venturing through a small passage.

Although players will be crawling through for over 2 minutes, they will find a great reward inside. A drawing class, with B1 battle droids painting a Mogu in a rather intimate position. It’s a strange addition, but technically it is now Star Wars canon.

5 Gatekeeper Droids

In a few situations, players might be able to spot gatekeeper droids, which is a model of security droid which acts as an eye, spying on passers-by and then retreating into the wall. Gatekeeper droids are present throughout Jabba’s Palace and can be found in Star WarsJedi: Survivorin a few new locations.

Although the gatekeeper droids that players communicate with don’t exactly have the sass and crudeness of the ones faced by C-3P0, they certainly have a hatred for organic life. They can be found at Pyloon’s Saloon, or a mysterious shack harboring a dark secret in Rambler’s Ranch.

4 Remnants Of The Clone Wars

There are plenty of Clone Wars easter eggs in Star WarsJedi: Survivor. Players can experience the remnants of the Clone Wars, discovering many lost ships and characters from the Prequel Trilogy. Not only will players find B1 and B2 battle droids, but they will also be able to fight Magna guards, find LAAT Republic Gunships, and more.

Even in Pyloon’s Saloon, players can find the helmet of clone troopers, truly cementing the end of the Clone Wars and the reign of the Galactic Empire. Even on Coruscant, players will be able to find some familiar easter eggs.

3 Somehow, Oggdo Bogdo Returned

spawn of oggdo using his tongue to pull cal kestis

One of the most feared boss fights in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order came early on in the game, as players faced the evil Oggdo Bogdo. This oversized toad was a menace that killed many players and challenged the very best. However, when the evil was slain, players thought they would be able to enjoy Star WarsJedi: Survivor without Oggdo, but they were wrong.

One of the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor secret boss fights will have players fight against the Spawn of Oggdo, the offspring of the fearsome boss from the first game. Not only is this fight equally challenging, but in beating this boss they can return to Doma’s shop to fight Oggdo Bogdo in a rematch, alongside their spawn.

2 Anakin’s Yellow Airspeeder

Around Coruscant, players might be able to find a familiar craft that was used by Anakin Skywalker to chase after a bounty hunter in Attack of the Clones. Although this airspeeder is mostly covered up with a tarp, it hasn’t stopped players from spotting the oddly similar colors of the airspeeder, which seems identical to the one Anakin used, or more importantly, stole.

It seems that whoever owns the airspeeder was not too happy with a Jedi Knight stealing their ride, and it has been left broken and discarded in the underbelly of Coruscant. It’s just another piece of equipment that the new Dark Lord of the Sith has left destroyed.

1 Jedha’s Fate

One of the most interesting locations in Star WarsJedi: Survivor is that of Jedha. Jedha has a rich history for its founding as one of the first locations in the study of the Force. However, that isn’t the main focus of Jedha. What makes Jedha such an interesting location to visit is the fact that players are aware of its fate, as seen in Rogue One.

Jedha is one of the first locations destroyed entirely by the Death Star. Since the game takes place a few years before the construction of the Death Star, it’s safe to say that the planet is on borrowed time, and not a single soul knows it.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
