Ahsoka Tano is one of the most intriguing Star Wars characters. Introduced in The Clone Wars movie, Ahsoka starts as the padawan of Anakin Skywalker. During her Jedi training, she develops close bonds with her fellow Jedi, as well as the Clone troopers who serve under the Jedi command.

Following her exit from the Jedi Order, before the execution of Order 66, Ahsoka still served the Light side of the Force and found other allies along the way in her later Star Wars appearances. Whether training to be a Jedi or not, Ahsoka always found some of the best allies.

10 Din Djarin

Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin. Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

Ahsoka made her live-action debut in season two of The Mandalorian. She served as a force-sensitive guide to help Din Djarin find a Jedi Master to train Grogu in the ways of the Force. The pair also teamed up to take down the leader of the planet where Ahsoka was found.

Ahsoka demonstrated an ability to communicate with Grogu allowing her to translate for the youngling. Her presence allowed Din Djarin's relationship with Grogu to grow and helped foster communication between the pair.

9 Grogu

Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

Much like Din Djarin, Ahsoka met Grogu while the pair were looking for a Jedi Master to train the youngling. At the time, it was difficult for Din Djarin and Grogu to communicate as Grogu couldn't speak, so Ahsoka served as an interpreter for the youngling before helping the pair find Luke Skywalker.

She could be seen again at Luke's new Jedi Academy where Grogu was training to be a Jedi. She intercepted Din Djarin before he could communicate with Grogu. While this prevented the pair from reuniting, temporarily, it allowed for choice on Grogu's part and for Luke to offer him that choice.

8 Luke Skywalker

Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

Ahsoka and Luke Skywalker are seen communicating during episode five of The Book of Boba Fett. Luke is beginning his new Jedi Academy where Grogu is his first student. Ahsoka plays a pivotal role in allowing Luke to continue training Grogu uninterrupted and allowing Luke to present the choice to Grogu of staying at the Academy or following the Mandalorian.

While Ahsoka and Luke are not shown in battle together, the two share a touching scene. They reflect on the life of Anakin Skywalker and how Luke is much like his father, along with how he is different.

7 The Ghost Crew

Captain Rex. Hera. Sabine Wren. Kanan Jarrus. Ezra Bridger. Zeb. Ahsoka Tano.

Ahsoka links up with the crew of the Ghost during season two of Rebels. She works with the crew and their fledgling rebellion as this band of rebels is forced to flee Inquisitors, Thrawn, and, even Darth Vader.

She helps a wounded Kanan Jarrus survive. She fights alongside Hera, Chopper, and Zeb in their time of need. And, Ahsoka forms even stronger bonds with two other allies from the team (who will be discussed later down the line). Her time working with the Ghost crew leads to her battling Darth Vader in lightsaber combat, and learning the sad fate of her former master.

6 R2-D2

Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano.

Much like Anakin and Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano was known for treating droids as full members of the team rather than just tools to be used. While her relationship with C-3PO was often strained due to his neurotic ways, her affection for R2-D2 was always clear.

During her missions as Anakin's apprentice, she often had to work with R2-D2 whether the mission was routine or if she ended up in a bind and needed his help. Ahsoka always knew R2 was going to deliver right on time.

5 Obi-Wan Kenobi

James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano.

Ahsoka and Obi-Wan Kenobi got off to an interesting start in their relationship. When she arrives to begin her Jedi training, both Obi-Wan and Anakin believe that Ahsoka has been sent to be Obi-Wan's new apprentice until it is revealed that she is actually Skywalker's apprentice. Obi-Wan quickly goes from not wanting her around, because he's not ready for a new apprentice, to being happy to have her around to give Anakin the same grief his pupil gave him.

Ahsoka and Obi-Wan shared similar ideologies about what it means to be a Jedi, allowing them to form a close bond with each mission they went on with Anakin. Ahsoka quickly showed as much trust in Obi-Wan as a leader as she did her own Jedi master.

4 Ezra Bridger

Ahsoka Tano. Ezra Bridger.

Much like the rest of the Ghost crew, Ahsoka and Ezra Bridger grew close when she needed his help during the height of the Empire. She helped Kanan train Ezra in the ways of the Force, even though neither of them ever became full Jedi.

Ahsoka goes to battle with Darth Vader to allow the Ghost crew to escape and continue their rebellion. It appears like she loses this battle as the crew flees, but as Ezra grows stronger in the Force, he finds a time rift that allows him to save her life. This allows her to go looking for him when he sacrifices his safety at the end of Rebels.

3 Sabine Wren

Ahsoka Tano. Kanan Jarrus. Sabine Wren.

Of all the members of the Ghost crew, Ahsoka grows closest to Sabine Wren. The young Mandalorian who has an affinity for spray-painting her targets finds a sisterly bond with Ahsoka that she can't have with the other female member of the crew, Hera.

The pair work together on missions during season two of Rebels, and the series ends with the team on a mission to find Ezra who has disappeared to stop Thrawn. It's also heavily hinted that Sabine may also be Force-sensitive and Ahsoka is training her.

2 Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano

The Jedi who wasn't ready for an apprentice became the perfect master to guide Ahsoka on her Force journey. Anakin trained her in the ways of the Force without being as rigid as the Jedi Council would've liked. While she was more traditional, like Obi-Wan, she also recognized the issues with the Council through Anakin's training.

After leaving the Jedi Order, she assumes Anakin is killed in Order 66 like most of the Jedi. However, when she faces him in battle, she learns the sad truth of what happened to her master and, more importantly, friend, that he fell to the Dark Side and became Darth Vader.

1 Captain Rex

Ahsoka Tano. Captain Rex.

Ahsoka and Rex have one of the most special bonds in all of Star Wars. Rex was a clone who served under Anakin's command during the Clone Wars. He and Ahsoka grew to be very close friends and that wound up saving both of their lives.

Ahsoka's faith in Rex during Order 66 helped him overcome the Empire's control. In return, he helped keep her safe from the Clones hunting Force-sensitive people. They would reunite during Rebels and both worked with the crew of the Ghost. Through thick and thin, Ahsoka and Rex always had each other's backs.
