Badges give players an opportunity to showcase their achievements on their Splashtags in Splatoon 3, and there are 24 of them that can be earned through Side Order. While fans are likely to receive several of the DLC badges simply by engaging with the Spire of Order, they will need to make a consolidated effort if they hope to claim them all. This guide is here to elaborate upon that statement, and it will help players get every badge in Splatoon 3: Side Order.

This guide contains information about a weapon in Splatoon 3: Side Order that players will unlock as they draw near to 100% completion. That information could be undesirable for fans that want to remain spoiler-free.

There are 18 Color Chip groups in Side Order, which are indicated by connecting lines in the Color-Chip Collection menu, and there is a badge for each one. Each badge is awarded when all three commentaries are unlocked for every Chip in a group.

With respect to the badge that centers around using Eight's Palette, a weapon that players will receive upon opening the final locker in Splatoon 3: Side Order, the maximum number of hacks that can be active is currently being determined by the playerbase. That said, it is confirmed that the badge will be awarded with four hacks or fewer, giving players access to at least 12 Color Chip slots during their runs.

Every hack (aside from Risky Reward) that is active when using Eight's Palette reduces the number of Color Chips that can be taken during the run by six. This reduction stops once the number of Color Chip slots reaches six.

For those players that may be having some trouble earning the Low Hacks Eight's Palette badge, there are two strategies that are worth trying. The first is to take all four available hacks, with some combination of Max Lives, Damage Reduction, and Attack Damage being recommended, and make do with just 12 Color Chip slots. The other strategy is to take a single hack, such as Max Lives, and use the additional slots to create a very powerful Color Chip build in Splatoon 3: Side Order.
