Splatoon 3 is one of Nintendo's most anticipated releases for 2022, and it's less than a week away. Fans were already given an extensive look at the game with a Nintendo Direct entirely focused on the game, followed up by a limited-time Splatfest demo of Splatoon 3 and its new Tricolor Turf War mode. There is already a huge amount of hype behind this multiplayer mayhem, but fans are also eagerly anticipating what they can find in the single-player Story Mode. Fans might have to be cautious, however, as videos of the game have already leaked online.

These leaks have been posted across both Twitter and YouTube, where some players have managed to access early copies of Splatoon 3. Some of these players have also begun dumping the game's files and distributing them online. Unsurprisingly, the multiplayer portion of the game isn't accessible at this time, with the servers inactive. Several accounts on Twitter have been sharing full gameplay footage and posting images from Splatoon 3's story mode, with one account in particular known as Splatoon3Leaks posting most of them.

As of this writing, there are around 30 videos of Splatoon 3 posted on Splatoon3Leaks, with some YouTube videos by other users that have also contained footage of the game's entire story mode. This includes boss fights, cutscenes, and even the game's ending. With the game's launch this weekend, fans are warning other fans to be aware of accounts and videos that intend to spoil this experience, advising them to block or mute said accounts.

Many fans are rallying together to find accounts that are spreading this footage around. The images of Splatoon 3's Sunken Scrolls and lore are already being spread around too. While there may be some fans who are looking for this early footage and wish to see what it has to offer, there are just as many fans who are outraged and looking to go in as spoiler-free as possible.

PC emulation and broken street dates have been a common issue for Nintendo in the past few years. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was leaked before its launch earlier in July, with fans sharing videos ahead of it running on Steam Deck to boot. Pokemon Legends: Arceus suffered a similar situation, leaking two weeks before it was going to launch, and now Splatoon 3 is under the same problem. The game is less than a week away from launch, so players won't need to avoid the Internet for spoilers for too long.

Splatoon 3 is scheduled to release on September 9 for Nintendo Switch.
