Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is one of the most anticipated Marvel films in 2023, and as such, its latest trailer was bound to get a ton of love, including a new take-per-take recreation of this Marvel animated hit made entirely with Lego.

Although Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's Miles Morales had been absent for years, the new preview dropped three weeks ago was a hit thanks to it teasing a bunch of the Spider-Man variants that will cross paths with Miles and Gwen Stacy this time around. The film’s plot does remain a mystery, but judging from what’s been shown so far, it looks like Spider-Man 2099 will act as a temporary antagonist for the young Miles before the movie’s true villain is revealed.

This is all perfectly captured by YouTuber "LegoMe_TheOG," who made sure to feature every big new reveal in the Spider-Man:Across the Spider-Verse trailer, including its redesigned Spider-Woman and her motorcycle, Jessica Drew. Perhaps more impressive is how this artist put together the multiverse scene that sees Miles being chased by every other Spider-Man. This is especially impressive since Lego has yet to release the official lineup related to the film.

The "LegoMe_TheOG" YouTube channel is packed with similar Lego creations, but the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse recreation is the most impressive. Not only is it the sole video that’s over one minute long by clocking in at 2:18, but it’s also nearly the same running time as the official trailer that Sony put out. Perhaps the only missing thing from this beautiful Lego rendition is a proper look at the real face hiding underneath the mask of Spider-Man 2099, voiced by Oscar Isaac in the film.

One part that stays intact is the rather emotional opening for the trailer, which mainly focuses on Miles talking to his mother and father, which might hint at him still struggling with the loss of his uncle and the general weight of being Spider-Man. In any case, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's animation style is a perfect fit for these fan-made Lego tributes, and the sequel promises even more novelty when it comes to art styles.

With Marvel's Spider-Man 2 release set for this year and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse due for summer, 2023 is shaping up to be an amazing year for Spidey fans.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is scheduled for release on June 2, 2023.
