The launch of the PlayStation 5 draws ever nearer, while fans everywhere patiently wait to see if they'll be able to get their hands on the coveted next-generation console. Plenty of PlayStation 5 trophy lists have been popping up, giving players a look at the achievements they'll be expected to complete in order to earn those well-deserved Platinum trophies.

One such trophy list belongs to Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the sequel to the PlayStation 4's 2018 action-adventure title where this time, fans get to sling around New York as Miles Morales, the successor to Peter Parker. While much about the story to Spider-Man: Miles Morales having been kept under wraps, the trophy list will give some basic insight on what fans can expect to do in this iteration.

It should be noted that in order to avoid spoilers, a number of story specific trophies are being kept a secret until release. This was a smart move on Insomniac's part, as its story was praised in the 2018 title and this iteration seems to be no exception. Fans may not want to know exactly which bosses they'll be fighting, and especially who the final boss will be. Miles Morales is a fan-favorite, bringing an era of social justice to the familiar web slinger. There's even a Black Lives Matter tribute to be found in this game's version of Harlem.

It also seems like this trophy list will be simple, just as the game before it. While possibly time consuming, fans only need to 100 percent complete the game to earn all of the trophies, with only a handful of them relying on doing something tricky. In a game that only takes around 7-10 hours to complete, it shouldn't be too taxing to earn that platinum trophy. New York is peppered with content and stuff to see, so combing through this list should be a breeze.

The PlayStation 5 also handles trophy collecting differently. Instead of a quick notification and screenshot, the PlayStation 5 will record a few seconds before the trophy was earned so fans can see the moments leading up to their achievement. This could lead to some cool instances of Miles taking down a group of enemies in a spectacular way, tackling a difficult boss, or zipping through the skylines in an impressive manner.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shaping up to be a great notch in the belt of Spider-Man's gaming history, as it's already received fairly high reviews. The wait is almost over for Spider-Man fans.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020.
