In Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Uncle Aaron appears in an easily missable scene that a fan has now pointed out. Uncle Aaron is a complicated character with a sketchy past, and his sister-in-law, Miles' mom Rio, knows that which is why he's off to the side and out of sight. Besides having a rocky relationship with his sister, Uncle Aaron has a double life as The Prowler and juggles with his villainy, sometimes at odds with his nephew Miles, who he knows is Spider-Man.

As far as anti-heroes go, The Prowler is a less advanced Iron Man with a Black Cat penchant for breaking into places and stealing advanced tech. Aaron Davis had been involved in theft since he was young, with his brother Jefferson reprimanding him to stop. While Aaron promised, his thievery escalated, and he developed a suit with parts he either created himself or stole. His suit combined with his natural athleticism and intelligence makes him a wary adversary that specializes in sabotage and subterfuge. He can be met throughout Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales in various scenes, from sneaking into Roxxon's labs to getting the subways running.

Reddit user bananaman-thaaf posted that while he'd purchased the game in January 2021, it wasn't until now he noticed that Uncle Aaron can be found and interacted with in the area leading up to Rio's speech against Roxxon and their experimental fuel Nuform. On the path leading up to the stage, Miles can talk to a girl painting a mural, Gloria, and just before the stage, on the left next to a volunteer booth, Uncle Aaron can be seen leaning against a transformer. He can be interacted with, assuring Miles that he'll leave before Rio sees him. But it seems not everyone who played Spider-Man: Miles Morales found him.

The post asked others how long it had taken them to notice the unassuming Uncle Aaron and the responses were fairly split. While many Reddit users were in disbelief that anyone could possibly have gone through the game without seeing it, nearly half the replies had similar stories to bananaman-thaaf. This was right after the point in the game when Uncle Aaron found out Miles was Spider-Man and complimented his suit. Some players felt it was hard to miss him. However, some users reported that they hadn't seen him standing there until their fourth playthrough. Of course, The Prowler is stealthy and good at flying under the radar, but maybe too good.

Uncle Aaron's complicated relationship with Miles stems from his own criminality, the same reason his brother wanted him out of his life. The Prowler plays a central role in the story that may help redeem him, though. Uncle Aaron really cares about Rio and Miles, and about his community. While he knew Spider-Man's secret identity, he didn't use it against him or try to harm him, and instead began to switch more to Miles' brand of vigilantism. While it's hard to say if Uncle Aaron will stay on this new path or veer back into thievery, he's always going to look out for his brother's family.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available for PS5, PS4, and PC.
