As fans continue to wait for Insomniac's sequel to the critically acclaimed PlayStation exclusive Spider-Man, players continue to pass time by exploring Spider-Man: Miles Morales over a year after it initially launched. In fact, it was revealed last month that Spider-Man: Miles Morales surprisingly took over as the top-selling game on the PlayStation Store for December 2021. While it no doubt proves the staying power of the IP, it can also likely be tied to the box office smash, Spider-Man: No Way Home helping to generate interest as well.

Regardless, fans both new and old are discovering Miles' story against the Tinkerer as well as some interesting and sometimes game enhancing bugs as well. Recently reported bugs range from the relatively tame, such as discovering how to access a cutscene tool used by Insomniac, to the more bizarre, including one where Miles Morales can suddenly run as fast as the Flash. Just recently, one player has discovered a new bug that makes the already stylish combat, even cooler.

Over on the SpidermanPS4 subReddit, a user known as NaotoBot posts a short clip of a glitch that seemingly happened during a fight with some random goons belonging to the villain Tinkerer goons while swinging around the streets of New York. After working over one of the enemies, the prompt for a finish move appears. Once triggered, the camera almost appears to speed around Miles as he performs his final strike on the enemy. As the world spins into a frenzy, it almost gives the scene an anime style background effect.

Thankfully, the glitch disappears as soon as the ender is finished. While the comments all seemed to enjoy the glitch, some reported seeing it happen on the original PS4 Spider-Man game as well. One user mentioned that it happened to them after attempting to stealth take down a brute, one of the larger enemies in the game, where both character models started spinning sporadically. Another user admitted that the effect happened often enough to them, though they were still unable to figure out the actual trigger or pattern to it.

Outside of the random glitch or bug to help spice up the game, modders have recently taken it upon themselves to place some other characters in the spotlight. One user in particular, ObviousChoice98, has been taking traditional Spider-Man villains like Kingpin, Rhino, and Scorpion, and making them fully playable in the game. Using a "jailbroken" PS4, ObviousChoice98 was able to use the suit system to change the models to be of the villains instead.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available now on PS4 and PS5.
