Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been one of the most highly-anticipated PS5 launch titles, and now that it's here numerous players are having a lot of fun with the game. However, many open-world games tend to have a cacophony of bugs and glitches uncaught by their developers, especially at launch, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales is no exception to this. In fact, one player quickly made an interesting discovery in terms of in-game glitches.

While most glitches have a chance to break the composition of the experience, or simply break the game altogether, some of them are extremely humorous given their outlandish or unexpected outcomes. For instance, one player managed to turn Miles Morales into a playable streetlamp. Now, another player has managed to transform Spider-Man into a brick, and their video is a wonder to behold.

Rob Sheridan on Twitter shared a clip of how he managed to transform Spider-Man into Spider-Brick. The brick itself is perhaps one tenth of Spider-Man's actual height, and can still shoot webs to help traverse Spider-Man: Miles Morales' massive open world. Everything about it, to the way it moves to the way the webs shoot out five feet above the ground is great fun.

While this is arguably an amazing discovery, clearly it is not what Insomniac Games intended for players when the game launched. Though, it's undoubtedly a good thing that players are finding these glitches and reporting them to the studio so the developers can go back and patch the game up. For some players who enjoy discovering hilarious glitches like this one, this might be an ultimately regrettable decision, but it is a necessary one.

Insomniac Games included a number of Easter eggs and callbacks to other Marvel and Spider-Man works. In a sense, the Spider-Man games serve as a celebration of all things Spider-Man, with Insomniac Games featuring a wide variety of Spider-Suits for players to choose from, including the suit featured in Into the Spider-Verse.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what other surprises Insomniac has in store for its users, whether intentional or not. While these glitches are often fun to discover, there's a large volume of hidden content intended for players to discover. There's even an Easter egg that references the X-Men for those vigilant enough to find it. Only time will tell if more of these glitches surface, and if Insomniac manages to fix all of them.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available now for PS4 and PS5.
