Spider-Man has finally arrived, which means PS4 owners around the world have spent the weekend swinging around New York and living in Peter Parker's shoes. Although there are big boss fights to tackle and evil plots to uncover in the critically acclaimed game, the world is just too vibrant and full of life not to stop and snap a few photos along the way.

Like most contemporary video games, Spider-Man comes equipped with a Photo Mode to allow players to capture some of the amazing moments that they stumble across in the insanely-detailed world that they are exploring. In addition to the standard Photo Mode setting, the Insomniac title also offers players the chance to switch to selfie mode and snap some instagram-worthy pics.

If you're struggling to switch to selfie mode, don't worry, you aren't the only one. Lots of gamers on social media have been voicing confusion over how to switch the camera setting, but this quick guide should help clarify exactly what you need to do to get setup for the perfect selfie...

Turn On Selfie Mode

First, press Options to pull up the menu in the game. Photo Mode should be an option on this page, go ahead and click it.

After clicking, the menu should disappear, but the gameplay will still be paused. There should now be a menu in the bottom right of the screen. Navigate to the Camera Type option. Select Camera Type and scroll left or right to reveal the Selfie option.

From here, the player can also add filters, slap some art into the background, or change the framing of the shot.

That's all there is to it! Once players know where to find the menu, it should be a pretty simple task. Be sure to snap a photo of any Easter Eggs you spot in the open-world.
