One of the biggest talking points of Spider-Man 2 are the suits. The game has over 30 different kinds of suits, and some of them can be further customized to fit the needs of players. The suits in Spider-Man can be obtained in different ways. Some require players to buy the Deluxe Edition of the game, while others can be unlocked after reaching a certain level.
In Spider-Man 2, the suits are purely cosmetic items. They do not enhance Peter or Miles' abilities in any way. However, they are not entirely useless. Players can actually upgrade their suits and enhance their characters' attributes.

How to Upgrade Suits In Spider-Man 2
The option to upgrade suits will not be available immediately. Players will have to reach the main story mission called "Amends." This requires players to take control of Miles and meet his uncle, Aaron. Afterward, Miles will have to go and collect his uncle's stash, which is located on the Upper West Side.
As this is the first time that players will be doing this, the game will guide them through the process of obtaining the item. First, players have to reach the highlighted purple area. Then they have to press the L2 button to look for the Prowler Code. Keep moving the camera around until the Analyzing appears on the screen. Subsequently, they will have to press and hold the L2 and R2 buttons to stabilize the code. Players need to press both buttons until the yellow balls are inside the boxes and hold them until the process is complete.
Once done, players will have to move to the side railing to pull the gate by pressing the L1 and R1 buttons. Next, press the L2 button to scan the code and repeat the process of stabilizing the code. Then climb up and open the shutter. Head inside and look to the left until a Triangle button prompt appears. Press the button, and Miles will acquire the first Prowler stash.
With the completion of this mission, players will be taken to the Suit Tech tab. Here, they will be asked to upgrade their Health. After successfully enhancing it, players can finally start working on the other upgrades for their suits. There are a total of four different suit upgrades:
- Health
- Damage
- Focus
- Traversal
Players can upgrade suits according to their preferences. Suit upgrades require various tokens and Tech Parts. So, they should complete various side missions and other quests to stack up on the resources to fully upgrade their suits.
