One of the most compelling features of Insomniac's Spider-Man games are the vast variety of suits that players can unlock and equip. The costumes for our webbed neighborhood hero call back to Spider-Man's adventures throughout Marvel Comics, some of the live-action and animated movies, and the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, there are around 70 different outfits to unlock for Peter and Miles, with most offering unique color styles to further customize the dual protagonists.
However, players will quickly notice at the start of Spider-Man 2 that there's no way to change their costume. This is because the suit-changing mechanic only becomes available once progress is made in the story. Here's how to change suits in Spider-Man 2 for PS5.
How to Wear New Suits in Spiderman 2
To get the Suits tab to show up in the menu, Spider-Man 2 players will need to complete the third mission of the main story: Show Me New York. At this point, players will be instructed to find a bag of clothes, and after that, the Suits menu will be unlocked.
To open the Suits tab, click on the touchpad to open the menu, and then hit R1 or L1 to tab over to Suits. It will be in between Gadgets and the Map. Once players find a suit they want, they will need to hold the X button to craft it, providing they have the required Tokens and Parts. Further materials can be spent to unlock additional Styles for the Suits.

To keep unlocking more suits in Spider-Man 2 , players will need to progress through the story and earn XP to level up. There are also several suits that are only unlocked by completing side activities, like all the Mysteriums and Symbiote Nests.
How to Get the Currency for Suits
There are a couple of different currencies in Spider-Man 2, and players will find most of them by just completing activities around New York. For example, Tech Parts can be obtained by just cleaning up crime on the streets, completing citizen requests from the FNSM app, and finding the collectible Spider-Bot items, to name a few.
