Soulmask is as much a base management game as it is an indie survival gem. From creating large structures and gathering resources, to automating production and managing minions, Soulmask has it all. One important part of the base management aspect is having enough food for all the followers at the player's command.
The easiest, and most logical, solution to a food problem is to grow food in farms on the base. However, crops take a long time to mature, and having fertilizer for them is important if players want to make them a viable source of food. All fertilizers in the game require feces as the base material, making it an essential resource for farmers.

Worship Containers can be used for a variety of things in Soulmask. Here's how to find them.
How To Get Feces in Soulmask
Feces is a necessary ingredient for crafting all different types of fertilizers. Getting feces is about as easy as it sounds. If players want to collect waste to grow their plants better, there are three main ways to do that.
- Outhouse: Players can unlock the Outhouse building once they reach Awareness Strength 15. Tribe members will automatically use the Outhouse, producing feces in the process. Players can also use it themselves to produce the resource.
- Animal Barns: Unlocked at Awareness Strength 10, players can create small animal barns that will continuously produce a small amount of feces. This can be collected by the player as needed and used to make fertilizer for their crops.
- Mounts: Animal mounts that players tame will also produce a certain amount of feces sporadically. It will drop on the floor and can be collected for future use.
How To Use Feces In Soulmask
Once players obtain feces, they can use it to craft the following fertilizers:
- Ash Fertilizer: Ash Fertilizer is used for pumpkin seeds. Players need 2 Feces and 5 Ash Fire in order to craft it.
- Bone Powder Fertilizer: It is used for corn, peanut, tomato, and cashew seeds. Players require 2 Feces and 5 Bone/Phosphorus Powder to make it.
- Stone Powder Fertilizer: It is used to fertilize chilli, guava, and papaya seeds. Players will need 2 Feces and 5 Acidic Fluid/Niter Powder to craft this fertilizer.
Once players level up a bit more and reach Awareness Strength 25, they can unlock the Compound Fertilizer, an all-purpose fertilizer that uses Ash, Bone Powder, and Stone Powder Fertilizer and Compost. Having a large amount of feces stored up is necessary since it is required for all these types of fertilizers.
