Sons of the Forest is a horror survival experience that players can enjoy in solo or multiplayer servers. For those playing solo, they introduced two AI companions as a new gameplay feature to make things less strenuous. Virginia Puffton is one of the companions already living on the island, and is the daughter of the missing billionaire Edward Puffton. Unlike the other companion, Kelvin, Virginia is quite the offensive ally once she trusts players. She can be given up to two weapons and will fight off any cannibals that try to attack.
Virginia can also be given a new outfit to wear. Her default fit is a white swimsuit, but players can find four other options around the island. These items are purely cosmetic and don't change her stats, but still provide a fun way to customize her look. Getting some of them will require dedication, but this guide outlines where to find Virginia's clothes in Sons of the Forest.
Camouflage Suit
The Camouflage suit is one of the easiest of Virginia's items to find, because it doesn't require any other items to access. The game's titular forest is on a remote island surrounded by coastal areas and beaches. Players can spawn on a beach at the start of the game, depending on where their helicopter crashes. The Camouflage suit for Virginia is found west of the beach spawn point along the north coast.
Players will know they are close when they see a couple of abandoned kayaks and other supplies. The Camouflage suit is sitting inside one of the kayaks with a lunchbox next to it and a pair of binoculars.
Leather Suit
The Leather Suit was previously found in the same room as the Katana, but with Patch Update 01, it was moved to a new spawn location. It is on the island's northwestern side, south of the Food and Dining Bunker, close to the west beach.
Find the long river from the beach leading to an expansive lake seen on the GPS. The suit is found on the lake's east shore. Players will see a crashed helicopter, much like the one they arrived in. The Leather Suit is sitting on the floor of the aircraft.
Tracksuit
Getting the Tracksuit is a bit more complicated than the previous items. Players must have the Shovel and Maintenance Keycard to find it However, getting the Shovel is a long mission in itself because players will need the Rebreather and the Rope Gun to find it. These essential items are found in various caves on the island's west side.
After getting the Shovel, players can head after the Maintenance Keycard in the underground Maintenance bunker at one of the pulsating green markers on the GPS. There is a dig site with broken-down golf carts and digging equipment. A shovel icon will appear above a loose mound of dirt that hides the bunker door. Players can use their Shovel to uncover the door, and grab the Keycard from the apartment inside.
With all the required items in hand, players can finally find the Tracksuit, which is inside the Recreational Center in an underground bunker east of the western beach. Players will see another green pulsating marker near the entrance. Once inside, follow the cave down the hall. Here, there's a room with a 3D printer and a cot where players can save or sleep before they continue to the Recreational Center. To the left of the 3D printer room, the hall continues to a wall with a light-illuminated gap.
Squeeze through the gap to a long hallway with a few supplies spread around and a set of locked doors at the end. Use the Maintenance Keycard to unlock the doors and reveal an indoor gym. The Tracksuit is sitting on a bench press seat a little way inside. Unfortunately, there are mutants in this area, so be cautious while exploring.
Dress
The Dress is found inside the Food and Dining Bunker on the island's northwest side. The bunker is underneath a cave system marked with the northernmost green marker. There are two golf carts directly in front of the cave entrance. The cave has a downward tunnel that leads players to a hatch door on the ground. Open the door and go down the ladder into the kitchen area.
A set of locked doors towards the back right corner of the room requires the Maintenance Keycard to open. These doors lead to several hydroponic garden rooms with multiple mutants waiting to attack. However, players can also pick up the Crossbow inside the gardens, which works great for taking them out.
Continue through the rooms to the flooded areas and past the last hydroponic garden room, and there's a long hallway with an open door on the left and locked doors at the end of it. The doors can be unlocked with the VIP Keycard, which is found in the surveillance room inside the open door in the hall.
Once past the doors, players will enter the Dining area and see a long table with multiple dead mutants inside. They will also encounter the mid-game bosses, mutant Edward and Barbara Puffton. The Dress is sitting on a table in a booth to the right of the entrance.
