Sons of the Forest is a true survival game with players starting with nothing but a GPS, lighter, and axe after crash-landing on a mysterious remote island. From there, they must find a way off the island while traversing through the forest, avoiding mutants and cannibals. The map in Sons of the Forest is significantly larger than its predecessor, The Forest, so traveling across the island can take up to a full day.

If players want to get all the key items, they’ll need to make the expedition to the other side of the mountain. To make things easier, they can use the ridable E.U.C. Knight V for faster transportation. This guide outlines where to find the Knight V and how to get it up and running in Sons of the Forest.

Where to Find the E.U.C. Knight V

Sons of The Forest

The E.U.C. Knight V is an electric unicycle that players can use to move around in Sons of the Forest significantly faster than on foot. Finding a Knight V is a lot like the Hang Gliders meaning there are a couple of locations with one, and they can’t be added to the inventory. When players first land on the island, there’s one of three crash sites, or spawn points, where they will start their journey: atop the snowy mountain, on the north beach, near a river in the northwest part of the forest.

There are several Knight Vs. on the east and west sides of the island. They are mainly found at abandoned campsites or cannibal camps. There are over ten Knight Vs in total all around, but players can find a couple near the beach and river spawn points marked on the below map:

The E.U.C. Knight V looks like a wheel when first found. There is usually only one at every spawn location they appear at, but they respawn when players load the game and stack.

How to Use the E.U.C. Knight V in Sons of the Forest

Sons of the Forest

To use the E. U. C. Knight V, pick it up and place it on the ground by left-clicking the mouse. Players will then automatically start riding around on it and can move forward as usual. They are relatively fast, so be careful to avoid getting turned around while navigating it. There’s also a chance the wheel will catch on a rock, stick, etc., and send players tumbling off. Luckily the island is full of premade paths and trails with less debris.

Knight Vs can not be stored away and will remain in the same spot players dismount. A temporary tracking device does appear on the GPS, but if players get too far, it disappears until the Knight V is picked up again. Additionally, E.U.C Knight Vs run on battery, so there isn’t unlimited travel, but the battery recharges quickly.

Sons of The Forest

The main restriction is that while the Knight V can be used anywhere above ground, it’s unusable in caves and deep bodies of water. Still, along with the Hang Glider and zip lines, the Knight V makes traveling the island in Sons of the Forest much more manageable once players get the hang of riding it.

Sons of the Forest is out in early access on PC.
