While Sonic Frontiers isn't perfect, fans are enjoying exploring what open-zone Sonic is like and seeing the many sights it has to offer. In order to navigate around the mysterious Starfall Islands, players need to complete numerous island challenges, and clearing one early may make a later section in the game more tolerable for fans. This would be M-069, a tile puzzle that can be found on one of the many smaller mountaintops scattered across Chaos Island.
The Location of M-069 in Sonic Frontiers
This puzzle almost sits in the center of the map of Chaos Island, only disconnected from the rest of the area by clouds and rails. Following the general track of the island north should eventually lead players to a small area with floating circular-shaped platforms floating nearby it. From there, they should follow the curve of the land until they find an arch with a rail coming from a pedestal. Following that rail should lead fans to this island.
Sonic Frontiers: How to Solve M-069
M-069 is one of the trickier slide puzzles in the game considering how players are roughly halfway through Sonic Frontiers at this point.
Due to how these puzzles feature a number of different platforms, there may be different solutions to them, but one way is to step forward, move right for 3 tiles, head down and go right for 4 more. Players should head up the next 2 tiles, left, down, left, then up again for 1 tile each. Then, again for 1 tile, turn left and then turn back up. They should head left again for 3 more tiles, turning up once again at the edge of the Ancients' puzzle. Fans should head up 3 more tiles, turn right for 2, head down for 2 more, then turn right then up for one tile each.Once there, they should keep going right for 2 tiles, down and left for one time each, and then down and left one more time to complete the island challenge.
Solving this particular puzzle in Sonic Frontiers early will benefit fans in the long-run as this particular area leads to some frustration with fans when Tails appears on one of the circular floating platforms for an important part of the game's story. Clearing M-069 and neighboring puzzles around it makes this area easy to get to through the Ancient Rail system, and the rails required to get to the circular platform can be found on a tower-like structure to the north of the M-069 puzzle. This should certainly cut players' time in trying to find Tails on Chaos Island in half.
