When it comes to celebrities that are intrinsically tied to video game culture, there aren’t many than can compare to notorious Hip-Hop artist Snoop Dogg. From being featured as a playable character and commentator for NHL 20 to streaming a number of major games prior to release, Snoop has quickly become a beloved member of the gaming community. The iconic artist also streams on Twitch, but as some fans may know, his calm demeanor doesn’t mean he’s entirely immune to some of gaming’s more frustrating moments.

Streaming Madden NFL 20, Snoop was playing a remarkably tense online game against another player. Losing badly with a scoreboard of 17 - 6 and approaching the final minute of the match, Snoop seemingly lost his temper when the opposing player managed to sidestep all of his opposition and score one final touchdown. Without saying anything, Snoop abruptly cut the stream, seemingly rage quitting after suffering such a crushing defeat.

While it could’ve been due to technical difficulties, it seemed more likely that Snoop’s frustration got the better of him, causing him to stop streaming and switch off the game. Fans were all the more confused seen as the hip-hop star had only been streaming online for a total of 26 minutes. Regardless, no one can blame Snoop for losing his temper when going up against online players. With a game like Madden, a crushing defeat to a worthy adversary can be incredibly rage-inducing, to say the least.

Since streaming games such as Madden, Snoop has become fairly popular on the gaming scene, even getting to play Mortal Kombat before it released and featuring in a Ghost Recon Breakpoint trailer showing off co-op the mechanics of the game. It is no doubt a big name for the streaming community to have on board, as well as one that shows off just how popular video game streaming has become. When one factors in that massive names like Drake and Travis Scott have shown up on Twitch as well, it proves once more that online gaming is a staple of modern culture.

Regardless, Snoop Dogg’s rage quit was a hilarious moment that shows just how embroiled in gaming culture the legendary artist has become. Hopefully, fans will get to see Snoop Dogg come back with a vengeance next time he gets stuck into some online games of Madden on a live stream.
