The Nintendo eShop has added more old-school titles to its library for players to enjoy. As of today, a crossover game from Capcom and SNK has been added to the ever-growing list of Nintendo Switch ports - SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium.

SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium launched in 1999 and was hailed as one of the greatest video game crossovers at the time. This was because of the sheer number of characters from different franchises included in the game. The title features 18 main fighters, with eight additional characters available to be unlocked through gameplay. Matches are broken down into three categories: singles, tag battles, and team battles.

SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium is available today in the Nintendo eShop for $7.99, which is good considering the game was one of the older fighting games that needed a reboot. The NeoGeo Pocket Color title is making a comeback in its original state, with a few minor tweaks. The original battle modes are included, as well as the mini-games used to collect points for move and character unlockables.

Players will be able to share data and play Versus modes against their friends in the latest edition of the game. It will also feature a new SC Olympic mode where players can try to break records, but whether this will utilize a live scoreboard or just high scores like the past has yet to be announced. Hopefully, Nintendo continues porting older titles onto the Nintendo Switch, including other systems like Nintendo 64 classics.
