Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an expansive game in which players can spend hours without getting bored. Spider-Man 2 has a plethora of suits, and almost all of them can be obtained just by playing the game naturally. In addition to this, players will also have access to gadgets and suit tech, which can be upgraded with the help of tokens and Tech Parts.

However, some of these items have to be unlocked, and this can only be done after reaching a certain level. To increase their level, players will have to amass XP. This guide will cover how to gain XP as quickly as possible.

How To Get XP Quickly

There are many ways to gain XP in Spider-Man 2. The most obvious one is to complete Main Missions, as they provide a lot of XP. However, they are long and require a great deal of time to complete, mainly because of the cinematics. Players can skip these, but they will miss out on the story if they do.

Another way to level up quickly is to complete side missions, such as recovering Marko's memories and Prowler stashes. Marko's memories are easy to get; players just need to defeat a bunch of sand minions and break the crystal containing Marko's memory. Collecting all of Marko's memories will also help players obtain the Grains of Sand trophy. Prowler stashes are also scattered all over the map.

Aside from these two, players should also keep an eye out for crime sightings by locals. These alerts appear on the right side of the screen, and they are not far from the players' current location. Players need to head to where the crime is taking place and defeat the bad guys to earn a decent amount of XP. These requests also have bonus objectives listed, which can be completed to earn additional XP.

The amount of XP that can be obtained from these requests varies. If players are assisted by the other Spider-Man, they can earn even more XP. Keeping in mind the time required to complete a crime request, it is arguably the fastest way to earn XP and level up quickly.

Another way to accumulate XP is by performing air tricks while swinging. To make things easier, players should pause the game and select the Accessibility settings. Then, they have to scroll down to the Air Trick Mode and change it to Toggle - Maintain. By turning this on, players can perform air tricks by simply pressing the Square button once.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is now available for PlayStation 5.
