Developer Monomi Park has released a new update for Slime Rancher 2, entitled "Add to Cart, ProntoMart," that adds a slew of features to the title. This includes a new shop system that will give players more ways to spend their Newbucks and keep their Slimes happy. This will provide Slime Rancher 2 gamers with additional options to meet their ranching needs.

One of the main features of the Slime Rancher 2 update is the ProntoMart. This in-game shop in Slime Rancher 2 will feature items like gadgets and blueprints, as well as rare and limited-time pickups for players to get their hands on. Over 80 unique gadgets and gadget variations have been added to Slime Rancher 2 that should help fulfill gamer's ranching needs, like the Tall Pink Reef Tree and musical floor tiles that light up when hit by Slimes. There is also an expansion for the Conservatory called The Digsite that can be utilized by players.

Slime Rancher 2 Future Update Plans

Another update will be released for the game this fall and will be the most ambitious one yet, according to Monomi Park. Players will see the Grey Labyrinth finally unlocked, which is intended to provide gamers with a challenge. The Labyrinth will feature a new gameplay system that will offer fluctuating levels of difficulty for those who attempt to conquer the chaos that it creates.

It has been announced that Slime Rancher 2 will be making its way to the PlayStation 5 on June 11, and those who pre-order the game ahead of time will be able to play from June 7. Slime Rancher 2 is currentlly available in early access, and Monomi Park stated that future content updates leading up to the game's official release will be dropped in tandem on all platforms. This should give all Slime Rancher 2 players things to do as the game's full launch comes closer and closer.
