Slasher movies tend to follow the same formula, but they're still always exciting. Audiences get to know a main character (often a "final girl") and their friends, family, and/or love interest. The setting is usually a small town that now seems creepy given what's going on. And once some murders begin happening, the main character investigates. There's also the thrilling moment when the killer/villain is revealed, and then audiences can put the pieces together of why this terror has been happening.

But in some slasher films, there are actually two killers, and that's definitely a lot more interesting. There are several movies that fit into this category, but there are some especially great ones that stand out.

Scream (1996)Scream 1996 sidney and mcgowan

When looking back on the Ghostface killers in the Scream franchise, the duo of Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) and Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich) definitely stand out. They're hilarious, truly have no idea what they're doing, and turn on each other while entertaining audiences the entire time.

While Billy is the one with the motive for stalking Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and many others in Woodsboro, it's Stu and Billy together who make up some of the most exciting horror movie killers of all time. The two think that they're best friends but really can't stand each other, and the reveal of Stu as the killer is particularly interesting. When looking back, fans can say that Billy always seems a bit off and unsettling, but Stu is a silly and funny person, so the decision to make him the killer as well feels smart and unique.

Freddy Vs Jason (2003)Freddy Vs Jason

The 2003 horror movie Freddy vs Jason sees A Nightmare On Elm Street's Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) and Friday The 13th's Jason Vorhees (Ken Kirzinger) going up against each other. It's a crossover of two of the most famous and beloved horror movie villains and one of the most fun films in the genre.

Besides allowing horror fans to be entertained by the exciting battle between two famous characters, the movie also has some solid teen characters in Lori Campbell (Monica Keener), Charlie Linderman (Chris Marquette), Kia Waterson (Kelly Rowland), and Will Rollins (Jason Ritter). Although Freddy Vs Jason might not be critically acclaimed, it gives fans exactly what they want, and it feels like a fun move to revisit every once in a while.

Seed Of Chucky (2004)

Tiffany and Chucky dolls in Seed Of Chucky

Seed Of Chucky deals with serious issues and it's also a slasher movie with more than one killer. Everyone's favorite evil doll Chucky (Brad Dourif) is back, this time creating danger and chaos everywhere that he goes with his partner Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly).

This third movie is an interesting one as the couple has a kid named Glen (Billy Boyd), and Chucky also thinks about wanting to be a doll and not human, which upsets Tiffany. The movie is just as scary as the other films in the franchise as Chucky is one of the strongest horror villains. Horror fans are always excited to see Chucky again, as there's no one like him. Chucky likes to laugh and joke around, so despite how evil he is, he's charming in some strange way.

Fear Street Part One: 1994 (2021)

The skull mask killer in Fear Street: Part One: 1994

The first entry in Netflix's Fear Street horror trilogy has several killers: Ryan Torres (David W. Thompson) who kills Heather (Maya Hawke) in the opening scene, the Camp Nightwing Killer, and Ruby Lane (Jordyn DiNatale). It's also a solid choice for fans of '90s horror movies as it's set in 1994 and features an awesome and creepy small town called Shadyside.

While the main characters are running from these three killers and thinking through the mystery, fans also love Fear Street's romance between Sam Fraser (Olivia Scott Welch) and Deena Johnson (Kiana Madeira). It's especially cool that the killers in Fear Street are from different time periods as that adds to the scares.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

The sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer has two killers: Ben Willis (Muse Watson), who stalks the main characters in the first movie, and Ben's son Will Benson (Matthew Settle). This is a fun twist, although it might not be as wild and unexpected as some others, especially since Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) thinks that Ben is her friend and has no clue that he's behind the horrors in this movie.

If Ben Willis was the only person killing people in this sequel, fans of cheesy '90s horror would still be fairly entertained, as it would make sense. Learning about Ben's son adds an extra element to this story that fans can appreciate. Although I Still Know What You Did Last Summer isn't really all that scary, thinking about Will carrying on the horror that his dad started definitely feels creepy.
