There's a lot of great fan-made props and items inspired by The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim that circle the internet. One fan, however, created a finely detailed Dwemer dagger made entirely out of sterling silver. That in itself should be impressive enough, but the creator's skill is truly highlighted when it's revealed that the dagger is just three and a half centimeters long.

Posted to the sub-Reddit r/Skyrim by Reddit user u/SecilEldek, the Dwemer dagger is a pendant made to be a jewelry accessory. u/SecilEldek runs a shop on Etsy that fashions miniature swords and other gaming items into necklaces and other accessories and the Skyrim dagger seems to have been made for the shop

The miniature Dwemer dagger itself features plenty of fine detail that Skyrim fans would recognize instantly including the inscriptions on the blade as well as the intricate details of the hilt. It's one of the wider blades in all of Skyrim and u/SecilEldek perfectly captured its proportions and details. Those looking for the Etsy storefront can find it right here.

Plenty of commenters joke about u/SecilEldek's high-level smithing skills in-game while also complimenting the real-life skill required to make such a well-crafted item. The creator also revealed that their next project will be a similarly small Dwemer dagger, but instead of being made from sterling silver, it'll be made from gold to more properly match its in-game counterpart.

Skyrim fans have been making plenty of interesting creations ever since the game launched back in 2011, however, now that Bethesda Game Studios has announced Skyrim: Anniversary Edition, there seems to have been an uptick in Skyrim players returning to the game. As a result, it seems like a lot more real-world crafting has been going on in celebration of the upcoming rereleased title.

It makes sense that fans would be excited to play what might be the final re-release of the classic RPG as Skyrim: Anniversary Edition seems to have a heavy focus on its community. With over 500 Creation Club Mods coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade, it seems like Bethesda wants to give something back to the many fans who have helped make Skyrim the iconic gaming title that it is. It's likely that there's still plenty more excellent fan creations like the miniature Dwemer dagger that are going to be coming out of the community before the anniversary edition of the game launches.

Skyrim is available for PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox 360, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming on November 11, 2021.
