Reddit user MiniFlittershy uploaded a short clip on the social media platform which shows their unusual encounter with a peculiar enemy. The user seems to be exploring a dungeon in Skyrim, where they're met with a hostile figure called Bandit Marauder. They easily kill the Bandit Marauder by beheading him with a clean strike but come across a rather unpleasant surprise. Shockingly, the enemy's decapitated head begins floating in the air instead of falling on the ground like it normally would've done. It's unclear if this happened due to a glitch or a mod that the player had installed.

Furthermore, the headless body stands up and resumes fighting with the player as if nothing has happened. The headless body and the floating head of the Bandit Marauder charge toward the user, who evades a couple of oncoming attacks before going on the offensive. They kill the aforementioned Skyrim enemy for the second time with a clean hit, finally causing the body and the levitating head to fall to the ground. Most Reddit users found the post hilarious, and they joked about the tenacity of the Bandit to continue fighting despite losing a crucial body part like the head.

For those who don't know, Bandit Marauders are a type of Bandit seen in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim's world. Besides the boss-level Bandit chiefs, Marauders are the strongest Bandit type but often struggle against high-level players as they have little resistance to magic and skill-based attacks. Moreover, the quality of the gear used by Bandit Marauders is much superior to other variants of Bandits. These foes are scattered across Skyrim's map, and players usually discover them in groups with other bandits.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
