A Skyrim fan has noticed that the Forsworn Briarhearts are a little more detailed than players would expect. The Forsworn Briarhearts are members of the Forsworn faction that have had their hearts ripped out and magically replaced with stronger ones. These Skyrim enemies are unique and violent, and players are still learning more about them even though The Elder Scrolls 5 has been available for more than a decade.

There are many interesting enemies in Skyrim, including Forsworn Briarhearts. They are some of the rarer opponents, and many players don't get close enough to them to make discoveries about their character designs.

Reddit user Harangutangue recently posted an up-close image of a Forsworn Briarheart's chest to the Skyrim subreddit. In the picture, fans can see that the Briarheart has a full model of a heart within its chest rather than a decal of one. Indeed, while there have always been interesting details in Skyrim, the inclusion of a full 3D model in the Forsworn Briarhearts demonstrates just how dedicated the team at Bethesda was while developing The Elder Scrolls 5.

Fans have been quick to comment on Harangutangue's post, noting that there are many other interesting details related to the Forsworn Briarhearts. When pick pocketing the enemies, for example, stealing their briar heart will kill them instantly and remove the 3D model from their chest. Most of the time, stealing in Skyrim doesn't cause enemies to die. But the weakness of the Briarhearts is yet another fascinating detail related to their existence. While the enemies can be hard to kill, Skyrim gives players a cool, if slightly disturbing, way to defeat them without conflict.

Though these details about the Forsworn Briarhearts aren't revolutionary, it is cool to see that fans are still discovering helpful details in Skyrim after ten years of play. It is also a testament to the fact that Skyrim has been filled with content since it was released, some of which still isn't fully understood by players. Additionally, mods and fan-made DLCs have brought more content to the title, making it easy to forget just how much there is to do in the original game. And so, while fans wait patiently for news about The Elder Scrolls 6 they can continue to explore Skyrim's expansive world and hope that there will be even more detail in future titles set in Tamriel.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
