Pirates are not known for their law-abiding ways, which is a reputation you will actively seek out in Ubisoft's seafaring action-adventure title Skull and Bones. As you sink enemy ships, plunder settlements, and loot any treasures you encounter along the way, you will continue to build an infamous reputation as one of the most notorious pirates to ever command a sea vessel.

As you upgrade your unknown sailor and become more known across the Indian Ocean, you will be granted new titles befitting your status as a naval bandit. For those wondering just how far your pirate notoriety can go, Skull and Bones has a list of Infamy ranks that you can achieve as a result of your in-game feats.

As you complete contracts, sink or board enemy ships, and discover everything that the Skull and Bones vast map has to offer, you will continue to earn experience points. These experience points will contribute to your Infamy rank, which in turn determine the availability of certain blueprints, recipes, ships, and even cosmetic items for you and your vessel.

There are a total of 10 Infamy ranks in Skull and Bones, which are;

  • Outcast
  • Scoundrel
  • Rover
  • Freebooter
  • Buccaneer
  • Brigand
  • Marauder
  • Corsair
  • Cutthroat
  • Kingpin

While Kingpin is the highest Skull and Bones Infamy rank, your progress will still be continuously recorded, and you will continue to level up. After Kingpin, you will receive a number at the end of your Infamy rank to demonstrate your dominance as a ruler of the seas. After Kingpin, your Infamy will progress to Kingpin 2, Kingpin 3, and so on.

This section will show your Skull and Bones character in their current outfit, as well as the ship breakdown, amount of experience collected, and current Infamy rank.
