The latest update for TheSims 4 has added many inclusive features to the game, and players can now finally add top surgery scars to their Sims, as well as binders, and medical wearables. The Sims franchise is all about living various lives and playing out dozens of scenarios in different types of situations. The developers of The Sims 4 strive to add more inclusive and realistic options to the game.A year ago, the Sims team added custom pronouns and sexual and romantic orientation options to The Sims. Eventually, once the High School Years game expansion came out, body hair options were also put in the game. This made the Sims community quite happy with the inclusive path that the developers were trying to take. Of course, some things were still missing, but it was progress nonetheless.RELATED: The Sims 4 Gets Underwear and Bathroom Clutter DLCNow, another step forward has been taken. The Sims 4 has just gotten another free base game update which adds more customization options. These include hearing aids with 15 color variants, glucose monitors with various placement options, top surgery scars, binders, and shapewear. This update is what many gamers had been wanting for a while now, and it's also part of the reason why many believe The Sims is one of the most inclusive games to have ever existed.

The free update also added content that improves gameplay on consoles such as cursor scaling, UI placement, functionality improvements related to the catalog, and a building guidance system. These improvements will definitely increase the enjoyment for most console players even if they can take a little getting used to at first. While experimenting with the building modifications, players should definitely try adding the highly requested, newly added free base game build mode item: the Unswitchable Switch light switch.

The free Infants update is just on the horizon and Sims 4 fans can barely wait for its release so they can finally enjoy baby Sims the way they always should've been. It is still unknown how this will affect The Sims 4's babies' and toddlers' growth since it's a stage between the two, but it's definitely exciting to know that a whole new life stage is being added; there haven't been any life stage additions to the game since they added toddlers. Now it's strange to think of The Sims 4 without toddlers, and perhaps in the near future, it'll be strange to think of The Sims 4 without infants.

The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
