A new update for The Sims 4 has been released in patch 120. Players can now enjoy a new feature, Scenarios. This feature allows Simmers to play various themed challenges in a new or existing save file. New Scenario can be found in The Sims 4's Main Menu on the right side of the screen under Load Game.
One of them is called the Making Money Scenario. Basically, players need to create one Sim or a large family, and they have to collect 1,000,000 Simoleons. The goal is to obtain it before the Sim dies of old age. If Simmers wish to see how to earn money easily, this article will help.
How To Complete The Making Money Scenario in The Sims 4
Obviously, players need to enter Create a Sim (CAS) to make the family. The number of Sims doesn't matter. However, if players want to make it easier, they need to make multiple Sims and have them all working. Players can also create one Sim if they want to challenge themselves. Next, pick suitable Traits depending on the Careers the Sims will have. Upon arriving at any Lot, the remaining money will disappear and players will be left with zero Simoleons.
The first step is, obviously, to start making money. There are two main methods players can use to earn Simoleons: hard work or cheats. If someone prefers a 'no cheat' gameplay and wants to complete this Scenario, they need to follow the following steps.
First of all, finding a job is crucial to creating a steady income for the household. There is a variety of careers for players to choose from. If people want to make it easier, they should pick one of the high-paying jobs like Interior Decorator or Acting.
Next is to focus on promotions. Every time a Sim gets promoted in their job, the salary will increase and they'll receive a bonus. To do that, Simmers need to see what are the requirements for a promotion and make their Sim achieve them before going to work. Players should keep in mind that every job is different. Thus, the promotion's requirements may change from one career to another.
Finally, players can have their Sims acquire Skills that are unrelated to their jobs that may come in handy in this challenge. For example, if Simmers give the Skill of Painting to their Sims, finished pieces can be sold to collectors for a decent amount of Simoleons.
The Sims 4 Money Cheat
All the steps mentioned so far require time and effort to complete the Making Money Scenario. So, if players want an easy and simple way to do this challenge, cheats are the best option. To use cheats, players must press these buttons (at the same time) to open up the Cheats Console:
- Ctrl+Shift+C for Pc
- Command+Shift+C for Mac
- R1+R2+L1+L2 for Console
When the Cheat Box appears at the top of the screen, players need to type Testingcheats true or Testingcheats on. After that, Simmers need to enter one of these cheats:
- Rosebud or Kaching grants 1,000 Simoleons
- Motherlode grants 50,000 Simoleons
- Money X grants the number entered instead of X (Money 476000 will grant 476,000 Simoleons)
Also, there's a lot of Mods on Pc and Mac that are created for the sake of easier gameplay.
Last but not least, players can purchase the Money Tree for 5,000 Reward Points from the Aspiration Rewards Store. Depending on its quality, the Tree can provide between 8,000 and 22,225 Simoleons.
In the end, after collecting 1,000,000 Simoleons, the challenge will end and players will be rewarded with 5,000 Reward Points.
