The Sims 4 has finally become free to play for all players on every console the game was originally available for. Although the expansion packs will of course still remain purchasable, the base came is now free for new players to explore.

Another praised feature of Sims 4 that has been in all the Sims titles has been its brilliant build mode. After buying a lot of land, players are able to build their dream home for their sim as long as they have the funds available.
These house can then be filled with a variety of furnishings and decorations. By learning cheats that allow players to move the objects freely outside its grid will also allow them to expand on their creativity when it comes to furnishing rooms.

Perhaps a player feels that they are unable to make a suitable house for their Sim, well with the Gallery players can explore pre-built lots as well as sims that other players have created and shared for the community to use.
Many of these lots available may include content from expansion packs, but there are also plenty of base game builds that players have shared to be used. Plus players still have the freedom to use these expansion pack homes and sims as they can replace those items that have been removed with others.
6 Take On A New Career
Experiencing the life of the sim players have created is just as important as setting them up in the first place. Once their sim has finally settled in, it's time to think about working. Sims 4 contains a variety of interesting careers that players can subject their sim to.
From part-time, full-time, to freelance careers there is always something that will interest a player. Not to mention that many of the careers contain promotions that a player can earn by helping their time fulfill whatever their job demands.
5 Don't Be Afraid To Kill Sims
It may sound morbid to attempting to kill those that are just trying to go along with their lives but the Sims 4 has a way of being creative when it comes to deaths. Across the franchise sims have been known to pass from a variety of means, and the Sims 4 is no different.
Players that are experiencing The Sims 4 for the first time will not only be able to eventually witness their sims passing of old age but also attempt to get them to die from an overload of an emotional state such as dying of laughter.

Besides getting promotions in their careers, players can also help their sim grow through picking up hobbies and learning new skills. There is a variety of activities to get involved in such as painting, fitness, logic, and much more.
Some of these skills can help a player earn some money on the side, while others will be greatly needed when attempting to improve in certain career paths. Other than that, in general it is entertaining watching a sim who once struggled with a task finish it easily.
3 Start A Family
A player may choose to first start the game as a single sim, looking for love and success in the world. A great goal after this would be to form bonds with the other resident provided until they finally find the one they are looking for.
It is an incredibly heart-warming experience watching these sims get along, fall in love and eventually plan a family together. Players that are incredibly attached to their sims may then go on to play the next generation of a family's bloodline and watch their family tree expand.
2 Take On Challenges
The community hasn't only provided builds or sims for players to enjoy but also a variety of challenges players can take on instead of simply living vicariously through their sims. Now that the game is free to play, even more players can try out the most popular of challenges set from the 100 baby challenge or Rags to Riches, which are both incredibly popular.
With even more hands on the game, there is sure to be more challenges created, or the player can come up with their own.
1 Have A Party
Even those that have played this title for a while tend to forget about throwing events other than a Birthday party. The Sims 4 highlights the importance of bonds, and it's a great idea to take breaks from work to have a bit of fun.
Planning upcoming social events such as an elegant Dinner party or an eventful house party does more than just boost relationships and the fun bar of the sim as completing them to the highest standard possible will reward the player with a nice surprise.
