Now, one gamer called tattletaylor1 turned their new pet into Blue from Blue’s Clues in The Sims 4. Tattletaylor1 shared three pictures of their new pet on r/Sims4, showing a cute small blue-colored dog that has an uncanny resemblance to the original canine character. Blue’s Clues was a popular Nickelodeon TV show that originally aired from 1996 to 2006. The show followed an interactive structure in which the viewer had to figure out Blue’s plans for the day by looking at the trail of paw prints left by the dog, and was mostly aimed at young children.

This is far from the first time that someone recreates characters from popular TV shows on The Sims 4, though. Earlier this week, a gamer recreated 10 Bridgerton characters in The Sims 4, making very authentic copies of some of the show’s protagonists.
The Sims 4’s pet character creator is seemingly very popular with fans. Last year, one gamer recreated their cat in The Sims 4, for example. The fan did a pretty good job, as their cat had some distinctive facial markings, and they were able to recreate them perfectly in the life sim game.
When looking at previous fan-made creations in the popular franchise, another one that stands out is when a player recreated Mario and Luigi in The Sims 4 last year. Instead of picking a more realistic look for the brothers, the gamer decided to recreate Nintendo’s official Mario and Luigi design as closely as possible, including huge eyes and round noses. Due to this artistic choice, the two brothers looked somewhat funny when compared to other The Sims 4 characters, but were nevertheless easily recognizable as the famous Nintendo heroes.
