Silent Hill 2 is a psychological horror game that's become legendary due to its superb way of tackling deep subjects with its portrayal of the main character and the monsters that haunt his mind. One of the monsters that can be found in the game is Pyramid Head, an executioner that wields a giant knife and is one of the biggest threats in Silent Hill 2. The creature became a signature of the Silent Hill franchise and has made appearances outside its original game like when it appeared in one of Silent Hill Downpour's endings.

Good Smile Company has announced a new Pyramid Head Pop Up Parade figure which is set to release in Q1 2024 in North America. Japanese players will have access to this figure much earlier as it will be released in December 2023. The figure features the iconic Pyramid Head wielding the signature Great Knife weapon that he uses to deliver slow but powerful strikes to Silent Hill 2's protagonist James Sunderland.

The Pop Up Parade Pyramid Head figure stands at 17-18 cm in height and comes with its own customized stand. The figure comes at a $32.99 price point, and it will be shipped from the US once it releases. With these measurements and affordable price, Silent Hill 2 fans and figure enthusiasts should be able to easily fit this new figure in their collection. Players seeking to add the Silent Hill 2 protagonist to the collection should know that there's a figure of James Sunderland produced by Gecco which is set to ship between August and November 2023. This figure also wields Pyramid Head's Great Knife as he would in the original game after finding the weapon in a labyrinth.

Pyramid Head will make its appearance in the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake made by Bloober Team. The remake aims to retell the story of this influential horror game with updated controls and highly-improved visuals. The remake is part of a larger return for the Silent Hill series which involves new ventures that will evolve the franchises further while giving control to third-party developers. Some of these new ventures include a film adaptation, a new ARG-like project that uses Genvid's MILEs technology, and an additional Silent Hill game that takes place in a Japanese setting.

Silent Hill 2Remake is in development for PC and PS5.
