Shadow Warrior 3 launched about a week ago but developer Flying Wild Hog is already teasing the game's first update. Having released for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on March 1, the developers say this first patch is going to be taking feedback from Shadow Warrior 3 users into account.

Shadow Warrior 3, like its predecessors in the ever-expanding franchise, is a first-person shooter that depicts the trials and tribulations of protagonist Lo Wang. The games in the series have always included a plethora of guns and weapons in order to mow through waves of enemies. All of this combines to form an over-the-top action game, that unfortunately has had a few problems pop up here and there.

The Flying Wild Hog team announced it's going to be releasing a new patch for Shadow Warrior 3, and while it wasn't specific about what will be included in the update, it made it clear it wants to try and fix those problems. The team said that while it's been an exciting launch for the latest installment in the franchise, it knows the work isn't done now that the game has officially launched.

The Shadow Warrior 3 team said that since the game launched, the company has been paying attention to people who are playing the game and those that are making comments in videos and on social media. Using those notes, the development team is working on a patch that will take as much of the feedback out there as it can. The post also made it clear that this patch is going to be available on every platform the game is on and is "coming soon." However, there were no further details on what "soon" means.

Flying Wild Hog treated the feedback from players as a kind of play test from its users, saying it was "extremely grateful" for what players did for it as far as posting feedback on the various social media channels. The developer has also started a new a new discord channel to more effectively and quickly collect ongoing suggestions and complaints.

It certainly makes sense that Flying Wild Hog would want to make it very clear it is working on patches quickly. Shadow Warrior 3's day one launch on PS Now is something that's never been done before and that gives the game's developer as well as Sony extra incentive to keep the game's quality high.

Shadow Warrior 3 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
