After two or three rather lengthy story-heavy sections, Chapter 9 of Street Fighter 6's World Tour Mode is a lot more fast-paced than players will have become accustomed to. To complete it, they'll need to complete three fairly challenging fight sequences, one of which may well prove problematic even for some of the more seasoned Street Fighter players.

For those looking to blow off a little steam in between these fights, Chapter 9 also introduces several new side missions, two of which can lead to players unlocking a few more of the optional World Tour mode Masters. Even with these slight detours, though, Street Fighter 6 players should still be able to complete Chapter 9 in around thirty minutes or so.

Chapter 9 - 1: Nascent Nayshall Walkthrough

Once they're done speaking with Guile, players should speak with Curtis to return to Metro City. Doing so will result in them getting a few text messages from one of Chun-Li's other students, who for some reason is using Li-Fen's phone. This switches the player's active mission to "White Hat Down," meaning that they'll need to come back to "Nascent Nayshall" a little later on. Thankfully, they'll find that it's incredibly easy to complete when they do.

Chapter 9 - 2: White Hat Down Walkthrough

To complete "White Hat Down", players should make their way to Chinatown during the daytime and then speak with Lao Tang. He'll mention that Li-Fen has gone missing and suggest tracking down the Bao Bao Bro from Chapter 7. Players can find him in Beat Square during nighttime hours and will need to hit him with a Master Action to initiate a fight. This can be done by holding R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) and then pressing one of the assigned face buttons while within range.

Bao Bao Bro is now Level 30 and so may cause players a bit of trouble if they're not careful. With a strong defense and a few consumable items, though, players should be able to persevere. This leads to Bao Bao Bro revealing that he saw Li-Fen at Abigail's Scrap Metal, which is where players can farm money by playing the Scrap Heap minigame. He'll also hand over his costume, allowing players to waltz right in there without arousing the suspicions of the Mad Gear Gang.

Unfortunately, when they try to leave, players will be apprehended by a bunch of gang members and will need to work with Li-Fen to fight them all off. After the first battle, Li-Fen will flee, leaving the player to take on Thrasher Damnd and an endless army of Mad Gear Gang grunts all on their own. They'll also have to watch out for the crane up above them, as this will periodically drop projectiles on them if they're not careful.

This can be an incredibly tricky fight as Thrasher is very strong. Thankfully, he'll only ever have one goon with him at a time, so players should at least be able to avoid getting surrounded. They'll need to be ready to dodge or block Thrasher's projectiles and should be ready to use healing items at a moment's notice. Just a few of Thrasher's heavy attacks can decimate the player's health bar, so they'll need to remain on their toes for the entire duration of the fight.

After beating Thrasher and escaping the scrapyard, Li-Fen will send a message to say that she's okay and ask the player to swing by during daytime hours. Doing so will result in the mission coming to an end, after which, players will get a message from Asterisk telling them to seek out a resistance leader named Kalima in Nayshall. At this point, they can head to the World Map and Travel to Old Nayshall, which will bring both the "Nascent Nayshall" mission and Chapter 9 of World Tour Mode to a rather abrupt end.

Optional Master: Kimberly

Having met her toward the end of the previous chapter of World Tour mode, players will be able to unlock Kimberly as a Master from the beginning of Chapter 9. To do so, they'll simply need to speak with her on the roof of the Metro City police department, which can be accessed via the ladder near the scaffolding on Beat Streat. This ladder is pretty hard to miss, as it's right around the corner from the Hangout. The only thing to note here is that Kimberly only shows up at night.

Optional Master: Zangief

From the start of Chapter 9, the player will be able to become Zangief's student by completing the "Hither and Thither" side quest. This can be triggered by speaking with an NPC named Uou outside the Mike Haggar Memorial Stadium in the Urban Park area of Metro City, though only during nighttime hours.

To complete the quest, players will need to go back and forth between Uou and a nearby NPC named Saou and then beat the former in a one-on-one fight. Doing so will unlock the Barmaley Steelworks in Russia as a new location and players can head there via the World Map screen to find Zangief, who is one of the 18 World Tour mode Masters in Street Fighter 6.

Optional Master: Dhalsim

In order to train under Dhalsim, players will need to complete a side quest called "The Yoga Statue", which can be triggered during the daytime by speaking with an NPC named Anik in the Bayside Park area of Metro City. For those having trouble finding it, it's to the south of Beat Square. Anik will offer to sell the aforementioned Yoga Statue to the player for 7,000 Zenny, which they'll naturally want to agree to.

Next, players should head back to the Hangout and switch the time of day to nighttime, then return to Anik in Bayside Park. His attitude has changed somewhat since the last time players spoke with him and they'll be forced to teach him a lesson. Doing so will result in the Dhalsimer Temple location being unlocked on the World Map screen, and players can head there whenever they like to become one of Dhalsim's students.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
