Table of contents

After a couple of relatively short installments, Chapter 7 of World Tour Mode hits back with a bang, offering up around an hour's worth of content once master-specific side missions are included. Unfortunately, a lot of this does feel like menial back and forth, though there are one or two challenging fights for Street Fighter 6 players to sink their teeth into.

In addition to becoming a tournament champion, players have the opportunity to meet with two or three new Masters and also gain access to a brand-new part of Metro City with additional clothing stores and mini-games. In that respect, Chapter 7 is one of the more content-rich chapters of World Tour mode, particularly for those who enjoy customizing their Street Fighter 6 avatar.

Chapter 7 - 1: Mike Haggar Memorial Stadium Walkthrough

Thanks to the Subway Pass that Luke gave them at the end of Chapter 6, players will be able to head down into the Beat Square station and ride the subway over to Urban Park. The train ride itself will last around 300 seconds by default, though players can get to their destination in around half that time by going from carriage to carriage and beating up all of the hostile thugs on the train. Once they do arrive, they should head to the Mike Haggar Memorial Stadium and speak with the NPC named Cathy at the registration desk.

Chapter 7 - 2: Novice League Prelims Walkthrough

For this next section, players will need to defeat three low-level fighters, all of whom can be found scattered around the Urban Park area. None of them should prove to be much of a challenge, though players will need to head back to the hangout to change the time of day to nighttime in order to find the third one. Thankfully, Urban Park is automatically added as a fast travel destination when players disembark the subway for the first time, so they won't need to go through the train ride again if they don't want to.

Chapter 7 - 3: Main Tournament Registration Walkthrough

After players beat Ernest, the "Main Tournament Registration" mission will begin. Annoyingly, however, players will need to switch back to daytime before they can make any progress here, which means yet another return visit to the hangout is in order. They can then head back to the stadium and register, which leads to a somewhat ominous cutscene playing out. Chun-Li's student Li-Fen then sends players a text message asking them to come to Chinatown.

Chapter 7 - 4: Shot Across the Bao Walkthrough

For whatever reason, Li-Fen will ask players to help her track down a mascot known as the Bao Bao Bro as part of some special promotional campaign. Speaking with her is all that's required to complete "Shot Across the Bao Walkthrough," but the next main story mission is quite a bit more time-consuming and will probably feel a lot like busy work to most players.

Chapter 7 - 5: Bao Bao Boogie Walkthrough

To complete "Bao Bao Boogie," players will need to head to a bunch of different locations where the aforementioned Bao Bao Bro has supposedly been sighted. Arriving at each location will lead to a text message from Li-Fen with directions to a new location, until, eventually, players arrive at a multi-story parking lot near the SiRN Building to the east of Beat Square. Once there, they'll simply need to beat Bao Bao Bro in a fight and then take the Shaobing Pass back to Li-Fen to complete the mission. She'll also decrypt the Data Card that Bosch gave to players in Chapter 5 at this time, finally bringing an end to the "Entrusted Encryption" mission.

Chapter 7 - 6: The Novice League Tournament Walkthrough

With all that out of the way, players can return to the Mike Haggar Memorial Stadium to participate in the Novice League. As with the prelims, they'll need to overcome three fighters to emerge victorious, two of which will provide little to no challenge. The final fighter, Rewancha, can be a bit of a handful though, as his attacks can deal an awful lot of damage if they end up making contact.

To beat Rewancha, players should hold the left analog stick back in order to block his big attacks and then move in for a punish counter immediately after. Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick can be useful here, but just about any hard-hitting attack will do the job. If needed, players can use items to heal here, but providing they block at the right moments, they really shouldn't need to. After beating Rewancha twice, both the tournament and Chapter 7 will come to an end, with players receiving 5,000 Miles and five Super Tough Jawbusters as a reward.

Optional Master: Cammy

To Unlock Cammy as a World Tour mode Master, players will need to complete the "Special Unit Del-" side mission, which is triggered by speaking with an NPC called Alfred down in the Beat Square subway station. Completing the mission simply requires players to defeat five Mad Gear Dancers. These are more likely to turn up in the Downtown area at night, but players shouldn't have too much trouble finding five in the daytime either. Once they've done so, they'll be able to head back to King’s Street, UK, for an encounter with Cammy.

Optional Master: Manon

Toward the end of Chapter 7, players will be able to initiate a side mission called "Extra" by speaking with an NPC named Manager Oscar in Beat Square during the daytime. To complete the mission, players will need to head to Drippin' Style and purchase a Gi (Top) and Gi (Bottom) for 10,800 Zenny. This may seem like a lot at first, but given how easy it is to farm money in World Tour mode, the price tag is actually quite modest.

With the full Gi outfit equipped, players should speak with Oscar again to be transported to Fete Foraine, France, where they'll be introduced to Manon. Once the introductory cutscene ends, they'll need to beat up three extras, after which, players will find themselves in a one-on-one fight with Manon. Win or lose, Manon will agree to train the playable character at the end of the fight, unlocking yet another fighting style and a few new moves.

Although it is technically possible to become Ken's student in Chapter 7 by purchasing a hard hat from the clothing store near the stadium and then using it to gain entry to the SiRN Building, it's arguably better to do this in Chapter 8 as part of the main story.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
