Chapter 12 of World Tour mode is all about combat, with Street Fighter 6 players finally getting to represent Metro City in the Tournament of Outlaws. They'll need to overcome five powerful fighters in order to emerge victorious, each of whom has their own distinct fighting style and requires a slightly different strategy to defeat.

In addition to testing their mettle in the tournament, players will get a chance to learn a bit more about the resistance and the developing nation of Nayshall. There are a bunch of new side quests in Chapter 12 too, one of which will lead to players meeting another one of the 18 World Tour mode Masters.

To unlock Chapter 12, Street Fighter 6 players will need to speak with Yua in the Central Bazaar area of Old Nayshall. After that, they should head along the nearby train tracks and speak with the NPC named Tshelima. If they tell her that she's still beautiful, she'll hand over a memo instructing them to return to the railway bridge at night. This unlocks the Nayshall Hangout, which can be accessed via one of the streets that funnel into the Central Bazaar.

After switching the time of day to nighttime, players should make their way to the liaison point and speak with Kalima and Rewancha. This conversation provides a bunch of background information about Nayshall and the resistance and ends with Kalima warning the playable character to stay out of the resistance's way. "Kalima of the Resistance" will then be marked as complete and players will receive 2,000 Miles and five Fortress Caramels as a reward.

Chapter 12 - 2: Tournament of Outlaws Walkthrough

With all that taken care of, players can return to Punch during daytime hours to get started with the Tournament of Outlaws. As with the fight with Rudra in Chapter 11, Manon's Manege Dore Special can be incredibly effective in all five fights, as it becomes stronger with each subsequent use. It's also a good idea to equip a Special that can close down distance quickly, such as Ryu's Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. Other than that, players just need to make sure that they have plenty of healing items, which, for those running low, can be purchased from vendors like Shopkeeper Udon in the Urban Park area of Metro City.

The player's first fight of the Tournament will be against a guy named Sompong, who is one of Chun-Li's students. He attacks mainly using projectiles and aerial lightning kicks, so players should aim to take the fight to him rather than sitting back and allowing him to do his thing. Next comes Kim, who uses Manon's fighting style, and, like Sompong, is best countered by applying constant pressure with a view to trapping him in a corner and then hitting him with Specials and throw moves until he stays down.

After dealing with Kim, things get quite a bit easier, as the player's next opponent, Hazel Cruz, provides very little threat. This is because she doesn't have a Master and thus relies mainly on standard attacks, which can be easily blocked or countered with Specials and Drive Impacts. Round 4 will be against Joy, who uses Kimberly's fighting style and is therefore a lot more passive than the previous three fighters. She often walks away from players, making it difficult to execute throws, but if players can get her in a corner, they shouldn't have too much trouble taking her down.

The final round of the Tournament of Outlaws sees players come up against a fighter called Gerald Golby. He's another Fighter who doesn't have a master, meaning that players don't need to worry too much about Specials and can instead focus on blocking Gerald's hard-hitting attacks and then jumping straight in with some punish counters. He does use Drive Impacts fairly often, but players can counter these with Drive Impacts of their own if they time it right. Defeating him completes both the tournament and the chapter, with players getting 10,000 Zenny and three medium-sized Energy Drinks as a reward.

Optional Master: Juri

In order to unlock Juri as a Master, players will need to complete the "A Hardboiled Adventure" side quest, which can be triggered by speaking with an NPC named Govind in the Central Bazaar area during daylight hours at any point from the start of Chapter 12. After starting the mission, players will then need to speak with two more NPCs in the immediate vicinity: Sandal, who's standing at a nearby corner, and then Capana, who can be found outside the clothing store between Sandal and Govind.

After speaking with Capana, players will be prompted to head to the back alley in Old Nayshall at night, which may prove to be problematic depending on where players are in the story. Those who don't yet know how to switch to nighttime in Nayshall will need to complete the first half of the "Kalima of the Resistance" main story quest as detailed above, which will unlock the Nayshall Hangout. Players can then make their way to the alleyway and defeat Govind, after which, they can speak with Juri and become her student after a quick sparring match.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
