In a lot of video games, the playable character's health will refill automatically in between battles. In others, players have access to consumable items that they can use to return to full health at just about any time. The World Tour mode of Street Fighter 6 takes a slightly different approach though, with players unable to freely restore their health from the hub world, at least at first glance.

This probably isn't something that most players will be all that bothered about, to begin with, as the enemies they face early on won't deal all that much damage and their health will be fully restored after almost every fight due to their character regularly leveling up. However, as they begin to encounter more powerful enemies and start taking a bit more damage, knowing how to heal in World Tour mode will be vital for Street Fighter 6 players.

How to Heal in World Tour Mode

There are a few different ways to heal in World Tour mode, the first of which is to level up. Unfortunately, players have very little control over when exactly this happens, so it's not a particularly reliable method of healing. Alternatively, players can head to a food vendor and buy themselves something to eat. Unfortunately, despite the streets being littered with restaurants and small food stalls, there are only a handful that players can actually interact with, and these are marked with a shopping kart on the map. The good news is that due to how easy it is to farm money in Street Fighter 6, the cost of buying food is fairly inconsequential.

From Chapter 6 onward, players will be able to unlock the Deliveries app on their phones, which can be used to order food remotely from anywhere in Metro City. To unlock the app, they'll simply need to complete the "Drone Delivery" side quest, which is triggered by speaking with an NPC named Dell E outside the Buckler Security Services warehouse during daytime hours.

Finally, players are able to use consumable items in order to heal themselves, but, for whatever reason, these can only be used during fights. What's more, they are fairly hard to come by, to begin with, as players will only be able to get them from chests or by defeating certain enemies. As such, it's better to save consumables for when they're most needed, which means players will likely find themselves doing a lot of back and forth in order to visit food shops during the early stages of their playthrough. As the story progresses, they'll gain the ability to purchase consumables from food vendors too, though they don't come cheap.

How to Increase Health in World Tour Mode

To combat this, players would do well to increase their vitality and defense stats, which they can do by using Skill Points in the Skills menu. Sadly, this will often mean neglecting other key areas as players are typically forced to choose between two skills, but for those who frequently find themselves running out of health, this is something of a necessity. Players can also find consumables that will permanently increase their vitality, though these are pretty hard to come by. Alternatively, players could spend some time learning how to block in Street Fighter 6, which should decrease the amount of damage they find themselves taking.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
