The tide is high for Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life players. Now that the long-awaited crossover with Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean is in full swing, players have tons of new tasks and adventures to embark on alongside Captain Jack Sparrow himself. To say the least, it's time to set sail and engage in combat with the notorious Davy Jones himself.

Among the tasks granted to players lies one that requires locating all five of the Sunken Pearl journals. It all starts with the Silver Blade, a wrecked ship sitting in the Siren Citadel. Players won't get here without surviving the Sea of the Damned, though there isn't too much searching that needs to be done once here. To start, there aren't any journals on the Black Pearl. They only pop up inside the Spire and the Citadel, and finding all five journals will award players with the Pieces of Silver commendation. This guide will go into the specifics.

All Sunken Pearl Journals in Sea of Thieves

  • Sunken Pearl Journal 1 - 'A Run of Good Luck' - In the Spire, Sea of Thieves players should keep a lookout for when they enter a tall room with three siren statues. To the right of the mermaid statue, furthest left, is some wooden debris, and behind that lies the first journal.
  • Sunken Pearl Journal 2 - 'An Ancient Mystery' - Once the siren puzzle is solved, the water will rise high enough for players to leave the room. Before that, players should look around the room for some red rocks. Unfortunately, there isn't a hidden Chest of Sorrows to explain the water level, but to the right of rocks will be the second journal.
  • Sunken Pearl Journal 3 - 'Unwanted Company' - This journal can be found shortly after opening the Citadel door with five gems in its head. In front of players will be two large shipwreck pieces, with the leftmost structure containing the third journal.
  • Sunken Pearl Journal 4 - 'From Bad to Worse' - This one is found not long after the last journal. After leaving the previous room, Sea of Thieves players should find themselves in a new room with three siren statues. There's a hole in the back right corner of the room, and swimming down will reveal an opening. The journal will be on a large piece of shipwreck.
  • Sunken Pearl Journal 5 - 'Don't Look for Us' - This final journal is probably the hardest to find. Once inside of the large chamber in the Citadel, players should keep a lookout for when they're required to use a pulley. Using it lowers a piece of the shipwreck that players can use as a platform to jump to a nearby cliff. Following the path, players will find themselves on top of the larger piece of the ship that has a hole in its deck. The journal is on the level below this one, on top of a box in the corner.
