Sea of Stars has a lot of NPCs in the world that players can interact with, shop from, and play Wheels with. Wheels is a popular game in the game's universe, and there are loads of people around that are very good at it. Some fans of Sea of Stars claim Wheels is one of the game's best features. There are a grand total of eight Wheels Champions that must be defeated in this chess-like game before players will be able to take on the final boss of Wheels: the Watchmaker himself.

Wheels Champion in Mooncradle
In the first town, there is a Wheels Champion in the Inn in Mooncradle. It is in the first line of buildings just south of the entrance, in the middle of town.
Wheels Champion in the Port Town of Brisk
There is a Wheels Champion to be found in the Port Town of Brisk in the Tavern; he is available both before and after the Catastrophe.
Wheels Champion in the Town of Mirth
There is also a Wheels Champ in Mirth after players get to the part of the game where Mirth is built, but before players start building the town up and finding the NPCs to run things, like the new innkeeper for Mirth. Check out the Tavern in the northwest part of the town to find it.
Wheels Champion in the Town of Lucent
The spooky town of Lucent also has a Wheels player; look for them in the Inn, which is the building straight north of the south entrance. It is by the fountain. The Wheels player will be just to the left of the doorway in this classic-RPG inspired game called Sea of Stars.
Wheels Champion on the Vespertine
If you are sailing around in the Vespertine, you can walk around on the boat at any time. To find the Wheels table, head down the stairs into the boat's interior and keep heading right. There will be an empty game table; interact with it to take on Yolande in the minigame of Wheels.
Wheels Champion at Lake Docarria
They even play Wheels under the water in Lake Docarria. There is an inn in the bottom left of the town; look for the building with a bed on their sign. The Wheels Champion is right inside.
Wheels Champion in the Cloud Kingdom
Once in the sky kingdom, walk straight up from the entrance and go into the first portal. Here, Zale or Valere can play the barkeep in a game of Wheels.
Wheels Champion in Repine
There are no Wheels tables in Repine to start with in Sea of Stars; the game is limited to just the Home World. In order to get the Champion of Wheels in the town of Repine, players will need to chat with this bored android first. They will state how bored they are, and then will ask Zale or Valere if they know any good games. Then, they will ask for a Wheels table so they can also learn to play.
Go back to the Watchmaker, and he will have a Wheels table for sale for 250 gold. Pay him the money, then bring the Wheels table back to Repine.
The newest Wheels Champion will study the rules, then players can take them on in a game or two.
Watchmaker's Location in Sea of Stars
Once Zale or Valere have played all the above Champions in a Champion battle of Wheels, it's time to take on the Watchmaker. He is located in Clockwork Castle. Once defeated, players will earn the Sea of Stars achievement called Clockwork Champion.
