Scott Pilgrim is a 23-year-old young adult who is just cruising through life. He's in a band, has a teenage girlfriend, and is hopping from job to job. He is pretty content with his daily life until a bold and mysterious young woman named Ramona Flowers rollerblades into his world and flips it inside out. Their story kicks off when Ramona tells him that in order to be with her, Scott needs to defeat her seven evil exes. This sparks the beginning of Scott and Ramona's relationship that's explored throughout the graphic novels. The series was nominated for three Harvey Awards in 2005 before winning the Special Award for Humor in Comics in 2007.
