In Sand Land, you will find yourself out and about roaming an extensive desert as you traverse the lands in exploration, gather resources, and fight off enemies.

However, as you begin to explore the lands in depth, you may begin to notice that some pathways or entrances to caves are blocked by rocks. If you're curious about what these paths lead to and wish to find out, then you will need to know how to destroy the rocks that are blocking your way and move past.

How to Destroy Rocks Blocking Paths in Sand Land

tank gameplay in sand land

In Sand Land, you will not be able to break any rocks that are blocking cave entrances or pathways at all until you gain access to the Tank. The Tank will automatically be unlocked after completing the 'A Tank? Sign Me Up' main quest, involves locating and stealing a Tank from enemy forces. However, you won't gain full access and freedom with the Tank until you have defeated the Cargo Airship boss and arrived at Spino in the 'Need a Lift, Ann?' quest.

Once you have finally fully acquired the Tank, you will now be able to use it to break rocks that are blocking some paths or entrances around the expansive desert land. To do this, you simply need to fire an attack at the rocks, which will blow them up and free up the path. By blowing up rocks and exploring these pathways, you may be able to find hidden caves, new shortcuts to help you get from one area to another quicker, or even some hidden spots for picking up valuable materials.

However, certain areas will have higher leveled rocks, which may require you to have higher leveled Tank equipment to successfully blow them up. These higher-leveled rocks tend to block critical pathways or access to important areas in the later stages of the game, so at this stage, it is incredibly important to upgrade your vehicle to increase the attack power, as well as other notable stats to help round out the utility of this vehicle, making it much more effective not only when it comes to exploring the desert around you, but also when it comes to taking on enemy forces in combat.
