The release of Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: No Way Home last year brought three generations of the friendly neighborhood hero together for one collective battle against some of the hero’s most well-known bad guys. Now, fans will soon be able to stream the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films on Peacock.

The popularity of the multiverse adventure has caused viewership of the past Spider-Man films to rise, with new fans of the web-slinger going back to understand the journey of the hero and longtime fans going back to feel the magic of the past once more. However, streaming the older Spider-Man films hasn’t been too easy, but next week everything is set to change.

On June 1st, the original Spider-Man trilogy by Sam Raimi will make its way to the Peacock streaming platform, allowing fans of the original and the new era to embark on the journey of Maguire's Peter Parker/Spider-Man from the beginning to the end. The first Spider-Man film, which was released back in 2002, follows the characters' Marvel Comic origin, telling the story of a quirky, awkward high school-aged boy whose life completely changes after being bitten by a genetically modified spider. After being bitten, Peter Parker forms spider-like abilities, and after his family is struck by an untimely tragedy, he uses the new powers he’s been gifted with to protect the ones he loves and the city of New York from evil - from any threats that may arise.

However, Peacock isn’t the only streaming platform getting in on the Spidey-mania on June 1st, as another Spider-Man origin film will be making its way to streaming. The Amazing Spider-Man will be making its way to the Netflix platform as well, giving subscribers the chance to stream Andrew Garfield's portrayal of the web-slinger. The Marc Webb film follows the comic origin of The Amazing Spider-Man, where Peter Parker uses his new spider-like abilities to fight crime on the streets of New York City while trying to discover the dark truths behind what happened to his birth parents when they disappeared during his childhood.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy, the most recent one to be released in theaters, has only had the first two films available for streaming on Starz, due to the character rights issues Disney and Sony have faced in the past. But there have been talks about Holland's films making their way to Disney Plus sometime during the summer of 2023, although now they are only available for rent or buy on most platforms.

With the older Spider-Man films making their way to multiple streaming sites, more talk about one of the most famous superheroes will continue to circulate, and now die-hard fans will be able to relive the nostalgia of the beloved characters' past adventures.

The Spider-Man trilogy streams on Peacock starting June 1, 2022.
