There are plenty of fan-favorite video games that gamers would like to see get a remaster, and that includes fans of the Telltale Sam and Max games. Telltale Games previously developed a series of Sam and Max games that were released in an episodic format with three seasons in total, and now Skunkape Games is working on remastering the Sam and Max games.

The first Sam and Max season, Sam and Max Save The World, recevied a remaster that was released last year to plenty of fans' delight. Skunkape Games had also been working on remastering the other Sam and Max seasons and revealed news for the next remaster. Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

On top of that, the remastered version will release on December 8, so new and longtime fans won't have to wait too long for the game's release. Players can pre-order Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space on the Nintendo eShop before its release next month. Skunkape Games recently released a trailer for the Sam and Max game to go with the remaster's release date announcement, showing some of the gameplay and graphics in action. The trailer shows many of the familiar characters and locations from the second season that fans can expect to see.

As expected, the remastered version will come with all five of the episodes from the original second season with updated graphics and textures. Skunkape Games also made a recent post that provided some extra information on the FAQ page for the remastered game. It covers plenty of topics that fans will be interested in, such as whether they can stream the game, where to buy it, and what's changed in the remaster. It also provides some details on whether or not there will be another discount like there was with the legacy discount for the Sam and Max: Save The World remaster.

Skunkape Games states that there will not be a legacy discount this time around as Steam no longer supports that. The post also reveals that gamers can still play the original Sam and Maxgames from Telltale Games as they were on PC. According to the post, the original episodes will be bundled with the remaster as free DLC for those who purchase the Steam version. However, it does state that the studio was unable to bundle the originals as DLC for the console versions, but they can still be purchased on PlayStation and Xbox.

Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered will release on December 8 for PC, Switch, and Xbox One.
