With the release of the long-awaited Saints Row reboot waiting just around the corner, the developers have released a downloadable demo that allows fans to try out one of the franchise's most beloved features. Known as the Saints Row Boss Factory, this nifty piece of free content lets gamers build their desired playable character that they can further use in the full release when it drops in late August. While many have made original characters, some players are using the demo to recreate iconic pop culture characters such as Tanya from the first Saints Row game and Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077.

Fortunately, in terms of depth, the Saints Row Boss Factory offers plenty of features. Not only can players design everything from how their in-game character sounds - with the Boss Factory presenting up to eight voices to select from, but how the character's facial and body type shape up. Delving deeper, players can also customize their character's clothing and accessories. In short, it's clear that the latest Saints Row already boasts some of the deepest customization that the franchise has ever seen, as it offers players more custom features than ever before.

Making sure to put the extensive features in the Saints Row Boss Factory to good use, Reddit user MANBEHINDTHESCENES has masterfully recreated legendary outlaw and absolution-seeker John Marston from the Red Dead Redemption series. Practically everything that makes Marston such an instantly recognizable character makes the cut in this Saints Row rendition, such as his grisly parted black hair, his signature cowboy hat, and short, patchy stubble. On top of this, MANBEHINDTHESCENES perfectly replicated Marston's iconic claw scars that mark the right side of his face.

For those unaware of who Red Dead Redemption's John Marston is, he remains one of the most pivotal characters in Rockstar Games' action-adventure Western series. Serving as the main protagonist of 2010s Red Dead Redemption, plus re-appearing as a major character in its 2018 sequel, Marston is an outlaw on a seemingly never-ending quest to protect his family from both the law and his past. While Marston does truly seek deep down to become a better person, the brutal American frontier often forces him to commit some pretty horrendous offenses in the name of redemption.

Intricate creations like this prove that the latest Saints Row certainly has a lot of flexibility in terms of character creation, with MANBEHINDTHESCENES's even being able to accurately resurrect a cowboy in-game. Hopefully, with the game about to hit store shelves soon, the community will have more pop culture recreations to share once they get their hands on the ultimate release.

Saints Row is scheduled to release on August 23 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
