After a couple of months of very little news, the Saints Row reboot DLC roadmap has finally been revealed. While the exact specifics of each expansion have not been unveiled, it looks like there is a lot of content on the horizon for this open-world adventure. The game may have been a bit controversial within the Saints Row community, but this roadmap has the chance to finally right some of its wrongs.

From now until August, Saints Row players can expect a steady stream of content updates. Three Saints Row expansion packs are on the way along with multiple free updates that should add to the game in exciting new ways. New stories, new districts, new cosmetics, and an entire combat overhaul are on the horizon, and hopefully, it all delivers.

The Saints Row post-launch content stream will start in April with a free Dead Island 2 crossover. This crossover will come in the form of a cosmetic pack that features content heavily inspired by Dead Island 2. A new weapon, outfits, an emote, and new decorations for the Saints headquarters will be added for free. This pack is set to release on April 11 with Dead Island 2 releasing on April 21.

Brand-New Saints Row Adventures in May

Players can expect a slew of new Saints Row content once May rolls around. The first of three Saints Row DLCs will be released, and it is being called The Heists and The Hazardous. This pack will add new story missions, new events, new cosmetics, and various other additions. No release date has been revealed yet, but anyone who owns the Expansion Pass will be able to download this as soon as it launches.

Along with the first DLC pack, Saints Row will also receive a major free update in May that will add a new district to Saints Row's Santo Ileso. This new district should give players even more content to explore, and that is not all that the free update is adding. Players can also expect a complete combat overhaul, a new selfie mode, and numerous other quality-of-life updates.

A New Saints Row Game Mode in July

In July, players can expect even more Saints Row side activities. The second expansion pack is set to launch sometime that month and is being called Doc Ketchum's Murder Circus. While it will not be expanding Santo Ileso with new stories, it will feature a brand-new game mode for players to check out. The specifics of this game mode have not been revealed, but it will likely be a wild ride. There will also be another free quality-of-life update, but Deep Silver has not shared exactly what that will include yet.

Even More Saints Row Adventures in August

The Saints Row content roadmap will conclude in August with the game's third expansion and another free update. The third expansion does not have a name yet, but it will apparently expand the Saints Row story with new missions, new enemies, new cosmetics, and various other changes. August's free update will once again include various qualify-of-life changes, and it will also introduce another brand-new district to Santo Ileso.

There is a lot of new Saints Row content on the way, and these additions may give players a reason to boot it back up. The game still has a long way to go before it matches its predecessors, but this content stream will hopefully improve the game immensely. Players will just have to wait and see if the wait has been worth it.

Saints Row is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
