Rune Factory 3 is a farming simulation where players can fight and tame monsters in the wild. There are a variety of different types of monsters, but each one of them will need to be fed grass when kept at the player's farm.
This means that if players plan to have a whole host of these adorable creatures to hang out at home with them, they will also need to plant a lot of grass to keep them fed. But first, Rune Factory players will need to find grass seeds to plant, and they can be a little challenging to find.
Where to Get Grass in Rune Factory 3 Special
There is only one place in this farming simulation game to pick up grass seeds: the Flower Shop. The Flower Shop is run by Shara, and she lives in the shop with her sister and her grandfather. This building is located in the southwestern section of the town. It sells several items, including Moondrop Seeds, Toyherb Seeds, and the elusive grass seeds needed to feed the player's flock. They are called Fodder Seeds and are 270 gold each.
In order to get to this menu in this relaxing RPG on Switch, interact with Shara during store hours; this is every day from 9 AM to 6 PM. Choose "I'm here to shop" in the first menu, then choose "I'd like to buy some flower seeds." The Fodder Seeds will be available in this menu.
How to Get More Fodder Seeds in Rune Factory 3 Special
Once players have some grass seeds planted, they can pick them if they have enough RP left, but it's better to use the sickle to mow the grass instead. This will give the player both the grass and new grass seeds. Just make sure not to use the sickle a second time, or it will pull up the roots of the original grass. This will allow players to get a massive number of Fodder plants growing to sustain all the monsters they wish. Grass also doesn't have a season, so it can be grown whenever it is needed without turning into withered grass.
Also, if players of this comforting farm sim want their grass to grow faster, they can use out-of-season plants to make withered grass, and then turn that into soil boosters. Just plant an out-of-season plant, then wait until it turns to withered grass. Pick it, then put it down on the soil. Use the hoe to till the soil with the withered grass then plant the seeds on top of this. It will speed up the growth rate of the grass to make sure players can feed their monsters faster.
